The singer previously revealed she had to undergo regenerative treatment after suffering extreme pain due to knee surgery.
Madonna decided to finally undergo knee surgery in April 2020 followed by hip surgery in November 2020 as well as ‘regenerative treatment for my missing cartilage.’
It has been a tough time for Madonna after a shocking health scare in June 2023.
Madonna previously had to scale back the seven-month tour after she was hospitalized and intubated over a bacterial infection last June.

During her first Celebration Tour stop in London, Madonna admitted onstage that she ‘didn’t think I’d make it’ during the stint, during which she ‘forgot five days’ of her life.
I didn’t think I would make it, and neither did my doctors,’ she said. ‘That’s why I woke up with all of my children sitting around me.’
‘I forgot five days of my life, or my death, I don’t really know where I was. But the angels were protecting me,’ she continued. ‘And my children were there. And my children always save me, every time.’

And during her tour stop in Los Angeles earlier this year in March, the singer further reflected on the ‘near-death’ health scare.
‘This show every night is not really so hard on me physically. It’s hard on me emotionally because I’m really telling you the story of my life,’ she expressed to the live audience in the Kia Forum, per Just Jared.
‘My heart is on my sleeve. I’ve fallen off a lot of horses and broken a lot of bones… but nothing can stop me.’
She also claimed that the first word she said upon awaking from her coma was simply, ‘No!’
‘I’m pretty sure that was God saying to me, “Do you want to come? Want to come up with me?”‘ and she replied with, ‘No!’
She also credited her children to aiding her in her recovery. She is notably mother to Lourdes Leon, 27, Rocco Ritchie, 23, David Banda and Mercy James, 18, and also twins Stella and Estere, 11.
‘My children are what really helped me pull through because they worked so hard. I didn’t want to let them down, so I just set a date. And that date became reality.’

‘It would be boring if they were just traveling from hotel to hotel, and occasionally coming to watch the show.’

Health scares aside, Madonna has also been met with lawsuits from fans during the Celebration Tour, after her NYC shows started two hours late.
The star’s legal team and Live Nation responded to the lawsuit in TMZ. ‘Madonna just completed and sold out her 2023 Celebration Tour in Europe – which received rave reviews,’ they said.
‘The shows opened in North America at Barclays in Brooklyn as planned, with the exception of a technical issue December 13th during soundcheck.’
‘This caused a delay that was well documented in press reports at the time. We intend to defend this case vigorously,’ they added.
