Anthony Joshua’s next opponent will be revealed on Wednesday.

Joshua last fought in March, knocking out Francis Ngannou in the second round of their fight in Saudi Arabia.

The 34-year-old said in April that his next fight could be on September 20 or 21 at Wembley Stadium in London.

He was correct, and he will return to the ring on September 21 at the historic home of England’s football club.

Joshua will face Daniel Dubois, a fellow Brit, to continue his ascent back to the top after losing to Oleksandr Usyk in consecutive fights.

The 34-year-old will fight at Wembley in September, and his opponent will be announced this week.

Dubois defeated Filip Hrgovic in the eighth round to win the interim IBF heavyweight gold in Riyadh.

The belt Joshua and Dubois fight for is determined by if the IBF decides to strip Usyk of the title. If that happens, the two British heavyweights will face off for the world title.

The bout will be confirmed when Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, announced his intention to put it up.

Hearn recently said : ‘We’re focused on fighting Dubois for the world title at Wembley but it is not all agreed.

‘There’s still work to be done by 100 per cent myself, His Excellency, George Warren, Spencer Brown, we’re all working together to make it happen.’

Joshua is on a four-fight winning streak having previously been a two-time world champion.

Joshua will take on fellow Brit Daniel Dubois, who just won the interim IBF heavyweight title.

After losing to Usyk on consecutive occasions, the Watford-born boxer has restored his career by defeating Jermaine Franklin Jr., Robert Helenius, Otto Wallin, and Ngannou.

Meanwhile, Dubois is on a comeback trail, having won two straight after losing to Usyk.
