Priyanka said that even though they both come from large families, their upbringing in terms of the culture they come from was quite different, and both of them had to learn and unlearn a few things in order to strike a balance.

Priyanka Chopra mentioned that Nick Jonas had a deep appreciation for Indian culture, while she grew up in the United States, making it her second home. They embraced each other’s cultures significantly, but it was the cultural differences that stood out the most to them.

She explained that in her family, it’s common for people to speak over each other, a behavior she had to unlearn when interacting with the Jonas family. Conversely, Nick had to adapt to interrupting and speaking over others to be heard in her family. This adjustment was challenging for both, as Priyanka learned to wait for others to finish speaking, while Nick learned to assert himself in conversations.Priyanka called this a big shift for her, even though she had spent a significant part of her teenage years in the US.
