He plays the hero, of sorts, in the Deadpool franchise.
And Ryan Reynolds is definitely a hero in the eyes of his daughter Inez.
The star carried the two-year-old on his shoulders when they were spotted out in the Tribeca neighborhood of New York city on Sunday afternoon.
The 42-year-old looked casual in a blue polo shirt, grey pants and white sneakers.
His little blonde cutie wore a sweet dress with a black bodice and red sleevesand rainbow hued sneakers as she held on tight to her dad’s face.
Ryan even took the time to pick up a bouquet of flowers for his pregnant wife, actress Blake Lively, 31, who stayed home with their daughter James, four.
Last month, Ryan told People that he and Blake won’t work on films at the same time so they can keep their family together.
‘Blake and I don’t do movies at the same time. If she is doing a movie in Thailand and I am doing a movie in Vancouver we would just never see each other,’ he said.
‘We operate as a unit, and that works really well for us. The kids stay with us, and the family stays together, and that is where home is. So if we are in Spain or Utah or New York, as long as we are together, we’re home.’
The couple wed in 2012 following Ryan’s 2011 divorce from Scarlett Johansson.
Meanwhile, the much-in-demand actor has eight projects on the go.
They are: 6 Underground, comedy sequel The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, action comedy Free Guy and Red Notice, with his Fast & Furious co-star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson all set up for 2020.
X-Force, Deadpool 3 and Clue have all been announced.
Blake can next be seen in drama The Rhythm Section with Jude Law, due out on November 22.
