Ryan Reynolds tried to wave down a cab after taking Blake Lively and their two-year-old daughter James for breakfast in the Soho neighborhood of the city on Saturday.
But the 40-year-old Deadpool star, who was toting the toddler on his shoulders, didn’t seem to be having much luck.
The family were warmly dressed for the bright but chilly morning in the city when the temperature barely scraped 30F.
Ryan donned an olive green padded jacket, grey jeans, white sneakers and a natty flat cap.
The Canadian didn’t need a scarf as his little girl kept his neck warm.
James looked cute as a button in a plaid coat, grey leggings 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 Ugg boots and a cream striped woolly hat with a red heart on the side covering her curly blonde hair.

The couple met on the set of another superhero movie, Green Lantern, in early 2010 and tied the knot on September 9, 2012.
Meanwhile, Ryan has been busy filming Deadpool 2, reprising his role as Wade/ Deadpool, a fast-talking anti-hero.
The much anticipated sequel is not due out until March 2, 2018, but Marvel is already promoting it with a new, explicit teaser that dropped on Saturday.
