The trainer for Daniel Dubois has launched a scathing attack accusing Oleksandr Usyk of CHEATING. Last year, Usyk defeated Dubois in nine rounds, but not before causing some controversy.

Usyk was slammed for ‘cheating’ by trainer Don Charles.

Dubois rocked the Ukrainian great in the fifth with a body shot that was deemed low. The question of whether the punch was lawful and on the belt line or a low strike was hotly debated after the replays.
Most notably, Usyk was granted time to recuperate after referee Luis Pabon declared it to be below the belt. Nevertheless, Don Charles, Dubois’ coach, feels the unified heavyweight champion should receive an academy award for staging the reaction.
Charles said on talk: “Everything was stacked up against us, we knew about it, we knew about everything. This is actually personal.
“I shouldn’t make it personal, it’s always about the fighters, and it still is about the fighters. I don’t get in the ring to take punches or give punches.
“Mr Usyk is fake. Exceptional boxer, masterful boxer, a genius of what he’s done and what he can do. But he’s a fake and he’s a liar and a cheat.
“It’s well documented. He is a guy who says he’s a God fearing man, he’s always crossing himself.
“This is going out to Usyk – if you believe in the same God that I and the world population do, what we refer to as God, one of the ten commandments is you cannot cheat. That’s against one of the ten commandments.
“Make your mind up, do you worship God or not? Because if you do, the cheating and the acting he did when Daniel dropped him, he should win an Oscar for that acting.”
Dubois filed an appeal with the WBA, but it was turned down, and the ruling of referee Pabon was accepted by the investigation. Usyk, 37, went on to defeat 36-year-old Tyson Fury in May to become the first-ever four-belt undisputed champion in the heavyweight class.
However, he had to give it up in order to move forward with the rematch on December 21 after Dubois, 27, was promoted from the interim title. In front of a British record 98,000 spectators, he also spectacularly knocked out Anthony Joshua, 34, in his first defense. In addition to calling out Usyk, Dubois has also made noise about Fury ahead of their upcoming rematch in Riyadh.
