Selena Gomez performs a dance routine during a Sabrina Carpenter concert with Benny Blanco while wearing a semi-sheer, sparkling outfit. Despite taking center stage on social media, Selena Gomez assisted fellow pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter during her sold-out Madison Square Garden performance on Sunday night.
Selena Gomez rocked out at Sabrina Carpenter’s concert in a sequined Cong Tri minidress.
Gomez, 32, gyrated in a bespoke Cong Tri LBD while admiring the show from a private box at the NYC arena, flashing her sensual dance moves.
The design’s skirt includes flirty sheer paneling.
She danced suggestively to Carpenter’s song “Juno.”
A shortened version of the brand’s black sequined maxi dress ($7,352), Gomez’s rendition had the same sheer-paneled skirt that simulated the impression of pleats — and let her matching black underpants play peekaboo.
The “Love On” singer flung her hair around and lip-synchronized to Carpenter’s “Juno,” styling her hair in long curls and wearing a black lace bra underneath the plunging mini.
She finished her look with sparkly nude fishnet tights and white Aldo boots ($132 $65).
While fans were concerned that the suggestive dancing could indicate that Gomez had split from boyfriend Benny Blanco, she later updated her Instagram caption to tag the music producer.
“can’t keep my hands to myself,” Blanco commented on her post, confirming the pair are still together.
The singer has been gravitating toward black dresses lately, selecting a velvet Ralph Lauren gown for the Sept. 15 Emmy Awards.
On Sept. 9, she rocked a Rodarte peplum gown at the Toronto International Film Festival.
And she wore Self-Portrait for the Season 4 premiere of “Only Murders in the Building” on Aug. 22. The sparkling outfit goes perfectly with the similarly black and sparkly styles the “Only Murders in the Building” actress has been drawn to lately, even though her hair-flipping and hip-shaking seized center stage.
For her recent red carpet events, including as the 2024 Emmy Awards on September 15, where she wore a black velvet Ralph Lauren halter gown with silver trim around the neckline, she has opted for long-sleeved dresses with strikingly similar designs. She wore a sleek black Rodarte peplum gown at the TIFF premiere of her next feature “Emilia Pérez” two weeks after wearing a black sequined minidress by Self-Portrait for the Season 4 launch of her Hulu program on August 23.
