Inspiring Young Muscular Dystrophy Patient Gushes: “Meeting Idol Jason Aldean Was the Best Day of My Life!”

Aldean met with the young boy ahead of his show in Savannah, Georgia.

A young boy named Frankie who suffers from Muscular Dystrophy got to close out his summer in a big way, thanks to the efforts of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Jason Aldean.

On Thursday, July 25, the foundation went above and beyond to fulfill Frankie’s dreams of meeting his Idol, Aldean, during the country megastar’s stop in Savannah, GA as part of his current Highway Desperado Tour.

A recap from day was shared to Facebook by the Wish host who revealed that the nearly 13-year-old fan and his mom, Keri, started off their special trip with a limo ride to the Enmarket Arena where Aldean would be playing later that night. Once inside the venue’s VIP lounge, the mother and son got to listen to Aldean play three songs and answer questions from fans before moving backstage to have a one-on-one meet and greet.

The wish host noted that Frankie was quite shy at first, but he eventually started to open up as Aldean got down to his level and began talking about things they both have in common, like having a home in Florida. Frankie also made sure to tell the “Let Your Boys Be Country” singer all about his fun experience riding in the limo.

Before taking their seats in the audience, the family was gifted a swag bag with two hats, two t-shirts, and two sweatshirts, several of which Aldean took the time to sign during their meeting. By the end of the night, Frankie had certainly had his fair share of excitement, and although he was tired, he told his mom multiple times that it was “the best day ever.”

Frankie’s mom couldn’t have been more grateful for the chance to see her son get his wish granted and to experience so much joy in the process. The end of the Facebook post featured a heartfelt message from Keri, showcasing just how much the efforts of Make-A-Wish volunteers, Renee and Dan, who coordinated the wish, and Jason Aldean meant to her and her family.

“Honestly, there wasn’t anything Frankie didn’t love—meeting Jason and attending the concert were the highlights, and the limo ride was the cherry on top. It was an experience beyond words. As a longtime fan of Jason Aldean, to see my son share that love and get to meet him was a dream come true. We’ll treasure this memory forever. Thank you to everyone at Make-A-Wish and our amazing volunteers for making this possible.”
