Concern over the location of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ “daughter,” Ava, whom he never formally adopted, is still present on the internet following the rapper’s most recent incarceration. Despite his previous claims that he “adopted” Ava in a 2020 sketch that has surfaced during his legal troubles, sources told TMZ on Tuesday that the founder of Bad Boy Records was never Ava’s biological father.
Ava has been close friends with Combs and his late ex-girlfriend Kim Porter’s 17-year-old twin daughters, D’Lila and Jessie, since they were younger, according to the outlet, which claimed the entire scenario had been “overblown.” Her parents have always taken care of her, according to the outlet.

The 2020 Instagram Live prank about the “Act Bad” rapper joke-announcing that he adopted Ava is being “overblown,” according to sources who spoke with TMZ. The rapper was never Ava’s father. According to TMZ, Ava’s parents kept the little child away from Combs despite his growing legal troubles because they were close friends with Porter, who passed suddenly in 2018 following a fight with pneumonia.
We contacted Combs’ representative, but we didn’t hear back right away. Ava’s situation became problematic in March after Homeland Security searches on Combs’ houses in Miami and Los Angeles. At that time, the public saw a 2020 Instagram Live video of the little youngster with Combs, 54, and his other kids.
Ava has been close friends with Combs and his late ex Kim Porter’s twin 17-year-old daughters, D’Lila and Jessie, since they were younger.
TMZ reports that Ava’s parents have kept the young girl away from Combs amid his mounting legal woes.
“My name’s Ava. I’m a Scorpio,” the teen began before Combs interrupted her and told her to say her last name. “Ava Combs Baroni.”
The billionaire hop-hop mogul then claimed that he had “adopted” the “white child.”
“I want you to tell them the story of how I adopted you, but you still have beautiful parents that — but you’re my child also,” he said.
Ava then jokingly explained how she was “on the streets” before “Papa Combs decided that he was going to be a caring man.”
In a 2020 Instagram Live, the hip-hop mogul joked that he “adopted” the “white child.”
“I adopted you because I felt that you could enjoy also having a black parent to take care of you and help you out,” Combs told his followers on the Live, adding that he got “permission” from Ava’s mom.
“So then, he saw me and decided to pick me up and said to come inside and stay with his kids,” she shared, adding that she and the rapper’s twin daughters, Jessie and D’Lila, are “basically sisters.”
While Combs admitted Ava’s recollection of events was “a little bit borderline suspect,” he claimed he “adopted” her like Madonna, Charlize Theron and Sandra Bullock adopted their kids.
“I adopted you because I felt that you could enjoy also having a black parent to take care of you and help you out,” he continued, adding that he got “permission” from the young girl’s mother.
The Sean John founder concluded that clip by clarifying that her name is “Ava Baroni Combs” before kissing her cheek.
Combs was arrested last week by the feds and charged with racketeering conspiracy; 𝓈ℯ𝓍 trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; and transportation to engage in prostitution.
The “I’ll Be Missing You” emcee is currently being held in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, NY, after being denied bond twice.
Following Combs’s federal arrest last week, when he was accused with racketeering conspiracy, 𝓈ℯ𝓍 trafficking by force, deception, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution, fans remained concerned about Ava’s whereabouts on social media.
“Where is Ava, the little white girl that P Diddy adopted? How many P.Diddys remain under protection in the business? How much more child grooming has occurred?enquired on X one user.

Combs was twice denied bond and is presently being imprisoned in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York.The deposed hip-hop mogul entered a not guilty plea to the allegations.
