We’re a sucker for Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ love story.
The couple first linked over social media back in September 2016 after mutual friends suggested they meet.
However, it took a little longer for their relationship to blossom before their whirlwind engagement and fairy tale wedding ceremonies.
Page Six is breaking down the couple’s romantic timeline.
Sliding into the DMs
Jonas first made his move on his now-wife in 2016 by reaching out to her on Twitter and asking her on a date, Chopra recalled in the pair’s joint interview with Vogue in December 2018.
“I’m hearing from a few mutual friends that we should meet,” the Jonas Brothers member wrote in the DM at the time.
The two then exchanged numbers, but it wasn’t until February 2017 that they met in person at the Vanity Fair Oscars party.
First Date
The “Quantico” star and the “Envious” hitmaker went on their most memorable date at The Carlyle in New York City in April 2017.
Chopra should take a trip to India, yet Jonas persuaded her to remain.
What should be “five minutes” transformed into the entertainer welcoming the vocalist back to her loft where they found her mother sitting in front of the television.
Jonas alluded to himself as “deferential,” let Vogue know that he decided to quit a kiss and on second thought give Chopra a “gesture of congratulations.”
Red Carpet Debut
The couple later started sentiment bits of hearsay in May 2017 when they went to their initially Met Occasion together as visitors of Ralph Lauren, they told Vogue.
However they presented on honorary pathway together, they didn’t see each other for a year a while later.
It was only after the 2018 Met Affair that Jonas and Chopra rejoined and chose to take up where they left out.
Casually Dating
In late May 2018, Jonas invited Chopra on a formal date to a performance of “Beauty and the Beast” at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.
The “Camp Rock” alum recalled the moment he saw her that night and knew she was “the one.”
“She walks into the Chateau, and I feel an overwhelming sense of peace and understanding about this next chapter of my life,” he told the outlet.
They also attended a Dodgers game together that same weekend.
While it was only their fourth official date, Jonas called his mom the next morning to let her know he had found his future wife.
Meeting the Parents
The couple fast-tracked their relationship when the “Citadel” actress accompanied the “Chains” singer to a family wedding in New Jersey in June 2018.
In photos obtained by the Daily Mail, they dazzled in formal wear as they joined his family at the ceremony.
A few days later, Jonas and Chopra took a flight to India to meet her family and attend another wedding, an insider told People at the time.
“It’s getting serious,” the source said.
They’re Engaged
After two months of dating, the duo got engaged in July 2018.
Jonas popped the question shortly after midnight on July 19 while they vacationed in Crete, Greece.
“I got down on one knee, again, and I said: Will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?” Jonas told Vogue. “No joke — she took about 45 seconds. Forty-five seconds of silence.”
Meanwhile, Chopra insisted she was speechless.
They later announced their engagement on social media in August 2018.
“Future Mrs. Jonas. My heart. My love,” the “Close” musician captioned a snap of his then-fiancée showing off her massive rock.
Newlyweds
Chopra and Jonas tied the knot during a three-day wedding extravaganza in the actress’ native India in December 2018.
First, they held a Western ceremony on Dec. 1, where the singer’s dad performed.
The next day, they said “I do” for the second time during a Hindu ceremony.
First-Time Parents
The couple announced they welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie, via surrogate in January 2022.
Their surprise announcement came a week after Chopra discussed her desire to have children in an interview with Vanity Fair.
“They’re a big part of our desire for the future,” she said. “By God’s grace, when it happens, it happens.”
