Conor McGregor believes Anthony Joshua should keep fighting even after the devastating loss to Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium. On Saturday night, AJ was stopped four times; the final stoppage occurred in the fifth round, and it was sufficient for Dubois to keep his IBF heavyweight title.
Among the many famous people in attendance at the highly anticipated bout in London was McGregor, who was spotted bouncing up and down in the first round after Dubois knocked Joshua out.In an interview with the YouTube channel “The Stomping Ground” following the bout, McGregor addressed remarks made by Ricky Hatton, who had earlier expressed his desire for Joshua to retire.

Conor McGregor doesn't think Anthony Joshua should retire after his loss tonight:
"AJ is number one… he's a legend forever…
It's only boxing. You get caught, you catch someone. Of course he can come back!"

When asked if there was a way back, McGregor added:’ For sure there is, he had him, he smacked him back, he stood his ground but then went forward and got clocked.
‘It’s only boxing. You get clocked you can catch someone. Of course he can come back for sure.’
The UFC star had a ton of praise for Dubois after his excellent win on Saturday night, while also criticising Joshua’s technique.
He said: ‘Daniel Dubois had no pressure on his shoulders coming in here.
‘Very calm, very composed and it showed, he came here to go after him (Joshua).
‘Joshua was showing the same shot over and over.’
Not just McGregor made the suggestion that Joshua may return. Both Derek Chisora and Dillian Whyte told Mail Sport that AJ is capable of returning following a hiatus.

Whyte said: ‘Dubois was sharper and stronger tonight. He hurt AJ in the first 20 seconds with a jab and a right hand he was good today, he was on point and did what he had to do.’
When asked if Joshua underestimated Dubois, Whyte added: ‘No he overestimated him. He was thinking too much, he wasn’t aggressive, he wasn’t moving around and thinking a lot.’
Chisora meanwhile said: ‘It was a great shot, a beautiful shot and give a shout out to Daniel. Well done to Daniel for an amazing shot.’
When asked if he thought Dubois would beat Usyk if they were to have a rematch, he added: ‘The way Daniel is going right now, yeah why not.’
During his performance at Wembley, McGregor claimed that 2025 will mark his comeback to the UFC and included a very important condition. “It will be 2025,” McGregor stated in an interview with DAZN. We’ll see. My planned opponent—well, it is what it is. I accept it and move forward.
‘My job is to go to the gym and be in shape. Whenever it is and wherever it is. I will be 100 per cent ready. I must get two fights in 2025. It’s the promised land.
‘Who knows (who the next opponent will be). It does not matter. Whoever, let’s see. I like it to be Chandler. I wish him well and see where it goes.’
