Erin Moriarty BEGS for One FINAL Request from The Boys Creator—Even if Starlight Doesn’t Get the Ultimate Showdown with Homelander!

Erin Moriarty wants Starlight to deep fry Chace Crawford’s The Deep in the ‘The Boys’ finale, and fans are all for it. Erin Moriarty hopes for a cathartic ending to ‘The Boys’ next season, specifically seeking vengeance on The Deep for his previous misdeeds. Moriarty expects that in the last season, Starlight will have the opportunity to murder The Deep, but only if she is provoked first. Fans on social media support Moriarty’s wish, feeling it would be a suitable conclusion to Starlight and The Deep’s saga.

Upon its release, The Boys quickly became one of our favorite shows and somehow, it has managed to retain its brilliance even after four seasons. Now, fans must brace themselves to say goodbye to the satirical superhero series as the next season is going to be its last. It sure is going to be difficult to live in a world without The Boys.

While we don’t know how the show will conclude, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, predictions, and hopes. Starlight actor Erin Moriarty is no exception, as she, too, has one request for the final season, and given what has occurred to her, we believe it is well fair.

Erin Moriarty Wants The Boys to Receive Cathartic Karma

Of course, the big question in the show is who gets to 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁 Homelander. While a majority of bets are on Karl Urban’s Butcher, let’s not forget this is The Boys we are talking about where we must expect the unexpected at all times.

In an interview with ComicBook, Erin Moriarty was asked if she would like for her Starlight to be the one to deal the final blow when it comes to Antony Starr‘s Homelander. While she wants Starlight to be the one to 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁 the heartless leader of The Seven, she also acknowledges the fact that this is a wish that probably won’t be coming true.

However, there is one supe she has got her eyes on – The Deep.

We can never forget Chace Crawford’s The Deep s-xually assaulting Starlight on her first day at the Seven Tower and it’s absolutely unbelievable how he got to walk out of this mess alive. Moriarty hopes things will turn around for them in season 5 and Annie will finally get her revenge on the superhero.

When asked which member of The Seven should Starlight 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁 in the series finale, Moriarty stated,

You know, which one, come on. Listen, I personally, I think that as of this past season, all bets are off. I think that we had certain predictions. I think she should 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁 Homeander. I don’t think that want or desire will or can be met. Who knows? But she’s got to at least get The Deep, let me 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁 the fish guy at least, bare minimum for God’s sake.

However, Moriarty has a condition – The Deep should be the one to attack Starlight first.

But it needs to be under circumstances where she’s provoked at first because that’s her.  She can’t just go and 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁 someone. They need to attack her and it’s self defense because she’s Annie, but she’s got to get someone and I feel like people weren’t rooting for that as much until this past season. But that concept of a cathartic karma. I think we really need it. So all of the above, all of them.

Honestly, yes! This is exactly how the story needs to come full circle in the final episode of the show. We’ve been waiting for Starlight’s revenge for far too long now and season 5’s finale seems like the perfect time to accomplish this feat.

Season 4 of The Boys saw a 1v1 between Starlight and The Deep but unfortunately, he didn’t get his well-deserved karma at the hands of Moriarty’s character. Once again, The Deep walked off alive.

However, now that the actress has expressed her desire to finally 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁 him off in the next season, fans have her back. Fans of The Boys on X are completely supporting Moriarty’s wishes and believe this would be the perfect end to the two characters’ arc.

Take a look at what they said below:

Black Noir, who is only the O.G.’s replacement, is one super who Moriarty might let go, even if pretty much everyone in The Seven deserves the fury of Butcher’s troops. Remarkably, she also wants to work with Ashley from Colby Minifie to defeat the supes.

Even if they’re all fantastic ideas, it will take time to find out if Eric Kripke genuinely considers the actress’ suggestions.
