1 MIN AGO: Caitlin Clark Just CROWNED The Number 1 Player In The USA!

The Indiana Fever rookie scored her 100th 3-pointer of the season in a 93-86 winover the Los Angeles Sparks, making her the first rookie to enter the triple-digittriple club and only the sixth player overall. She joins Sabrina lonescu, DianaTaurasi, Arike Ogunbowale, Jewell Loyd, Kelsey Plum and teammate Kelsey Mitchell.

Among WNBA players to make 100 3-pointers in a season, Clark is the only one toalso post 200 assists.

Clark finished the game with 24 points on 8-of-17 shooting (4-of-10 from deep), 10rebounds, 10 assists, seven turnovers and three steals, her second careertriple-double. They are the only triple-doubles by a rookie in WNBA history.

As time ticked away, Clark was still one rebound away from her historictriple-double, but got there with an easy grab of the final miss of the game. theGainbridge Fieldhouse crowd knew what it meant.

Aliyah Boston, the Fever’s previous No. 1 pick, had a standout game as well, with 24points on 10-of-16 shooting, 14 rebounds and four assists.

As things stand, Clark is on pace to shatter Alyssa Thomas’ single-season record of316 assists with 335 and finish third on the all-time 3-pointer list with 120, behindlonescu’s record of 128 in a season and Taurasi’s 121. She already holds the recordfor turnovers at 188.

Through 34 career games, Clark already has the third-most career games with 20points and 10 rebounds at seven, behind only Courtney Vandersloot (10 in 422games) and Diana Taurasi (nine in 559 games).
