Kendrick Lamar’s camp is not focused on the feud with Drake: “We Leaving The Canadian Alone”.

Kendrick Lamar Moves On from Feud with Drake: No More Diss Tracks, Confirms Affiliate.

Kendrick Lamar looks to have moved on from his rap battle with Drake, with insiders close to the Compton rapper indicating that he is no longer interested in collaborating with the Toronto hitmaker. Lil L, a renowned Lamar affiliate, verified on social media that Kendrick and his team are now focusing on their artistic projects rather than renewing their long-standing battle with Drake.

The announcement came after a fan asked Lil L on X (previously Twitter) if Lamar planned to release more diss tunes aimed at Drake. Lil L, also known as Euro Luxxk, said, “Nah, we’re leaving the Canadian alone.” Everyone is just working at the moment, so stay tuned.

While Kendrick appears to be moving forward, Drake has teased the prospect of reigniting the dispute. The Toronto rapper recently shared a strange video on social media, in which former NBA great Rasheed Wallace confidently predicts a victory for his Detroit Pistons following a loss to the Indiana Pacers in the 2004 Eastern Conference Final. The Pistons went on to win not only the next game, but the entire series, prompting some to think that Drake may be implying a similar “comeback” in his continuing feud with Lamar.

Tensions between the two rap heavyweights rose earlier this year when Kendrick lashed out at Drake in his vocal on Future and Metro Boomin’s blockbuster tune, “Like That.” The song was viewed as a direct response to Drake and J. Cole’s collaboration “First Person Shooter,” which topped the charts in 2023.

Both rappers traded diss tracks, which drew the attention of the rap industry. Kendrick’s “Not Like Us” was a smash hit, topping the Billboard Hot 100 and smashing multiple streaming records, prompting many to consider him the winner of their lyrical fight.

With Kendrick Lamar looking uninterested in extending the dispute and Drake hinting at a possible response, fans are left wondering if the rivalry is actually finished or if another chapter is about to begin. Kendrick’s camp is currently concentrating on new projects, but Drake’s social media teases suggest that this is not the end of their story.

As both musicians continue to dominate the music industry, the question remains: Will the feud resume, or has Kendrick Lamar genuinely moved on? Only time will tell.
