Mahomes and Swift have been seen in suites cheering for Patrick Mahomes, Brittany’s husband, and Travis Kelce, Swift’s boyfriend of a year.

Swift sat next to her new bestie Chariah Gordon, who is the girlfriend of another Chiefs star, Mecole Hardman, on Thursday night, with other Kelce family members filling the suite. Brittany Mahomes was watching from another suite with her daughter Sterling Skye.

Swift and Mahomes were inseparable during games last season, and the new year has brought a notable break from their tradition, complete with particularly grandiose handshakes and plenty of support.

The disagreement among the Chiefs WAGs came after Mahomes endorsed Donald Trump for President. Swift has already been a loud critic of Donald Trump.

Fans of the Chiefs and Swift soon noticed the divide into various areas for the game.

Trump is running for president for the third time, having previously secured the Republican nomination, and his opponents see his ideas and language as getting increasingly divisive with time.

Swift has previously supported Trump’s opponents while accusing him of’stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism’, ‘feigning moral superiority’, and ‘threatening violence’.

Although Swift has not officially endorsed Trump’s presidential opponent, Kamala Harris, her record speaks for itself.

Brittany appears to support the Republican candidate, as the former President thanked her on Truth Social earlier this week.

‘I want to thank lovely Brittany Mahomes for her strong defense of me, as well as the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful political movement in the history of our now-failing country,’ he said.

Brittany Mahomes’ experience in the spotlight had not been perfect previous to her association with Swift. She’s been called out in the past for criticizing officials after the Chiefs lose games.

Last season, the Kansas City WAG was chastised after being seen on camera opening a bottle of champagne in the stands at Buffalo’s Highmark Stadium and splashing it on unsuspecting fans seated below her in cold circumstances.

Swift was spotted leaving Arrowhead Stadium hand-in-hand with Kelce, days after his representatives denied that they have plans to split later this month after a document written on the headed paper of his US PR company was spread online.

The paperwork, which appears to have been created by Los Angeles-based firm Full Scope, reveals a strategy to make their split, and says the date for an announcement is September 28.

Laying out what the statement would say, they write: ‘Example: Travis and Taylor have decided to part ways after careful consideration. They both value and respect each other’s personal lives and appreciate your respect for privacy during this time.’

The paperwork, which first leaked on Reddit, outlined a plan to release an official statement at the end of this month – three days ‘post-break up’ to ‘allow the initial media frenzy to settle and ensure clarity’.

Kelce appeared as a guest on ‘The Rich Eisen Show’ a few hours before his lawyers had to deny plans for a split, lovingly calling Swift ‘Tay Tay’, blindsiding everyone involved for alleged trouble in paradise.

If there’s any trouble, it appears to be with Swift and Brittany Mahomes, as the 14-time Grammy winner was sure to know her opting for Gordon beside her would not go unnoticed.

Gordon is the fiancé of Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman, who Swift ran onto the field and hugged after he caught the game-winning touchdown catch in last season’s Super Bowl victory.

One of the earliest images of Kelce and Swift as a couple to surface was at a Halloween party with Swift kissing Kelce’s cheek next to Gordon and Hardman.

The Chiefs improved to 11-3 overall with Swift in attendance after last night’s win. She attended 13 games last season and is expected at several more in upcoming weeks.

Swift’s schedule has opened up due to her European leg of the ‘Eras Tour’ wrapping last month. It does not restart until mid-November in Canada.

Whether or not any future appearances at Chiefs games will come with old bestie Mahomes sitting next to her is now in question, as opposed to being a forgone conclusion before Thursday’s game.
