At the Toronto International Film Festival after party for her film Unstoppable, Jennifer Lopez and Matt Damon were observed engaging in a private conversation.
The 55-year-old singer of Jenny From the Block and the 53-year-old star of Bourne Identity sat in a corner of the party where they could have some privacy, heads close together and serious expressions on their faces.
At one point, Matt lowered his head as though in prayer, and the Hustlers actress put her hand on his while rocking a vengeance dress reminiscent of a disco ball.

For over four decades, Matt and Jennifer Lopez’s soon-to-be ex-husband, 52-year-old Ben Affleck, have been friends.
With the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for Good Will Hunting, they made a huge splash in 1997.
Affleck produces the sports drama Unstoppable, which tells the story of Anthony Robles, a man who was rejected from his university yet went on to become a champion wrestler despite only having one leg at birth.
In the movie, Jennifer has a supporting part.
Instead of taking the chance of a highly public run-in with his ex on the Toronto red carpet, Affleck chose to stay at home.
The Let’s Get Loud singer spent months attempting to save her relationship, but ultimately she was unable to see past the “darkness” in him, according to a source who spoke out earlier this summer.
‘She loves him, she will always love him, that’s the problem,’ a source close to the Wedding Planner actress told Page Six.
‘Ben has a darkness to him that no other person can fix. Jen Garner couldn’t fix it, all the success in the world couldn’t fix it,’ the source continued.
J-Lo reportedly hoped Ben would show up to her Bridgerton-themed 55th birthday bash in the Hamptons in July, but he didn’t.
‘She truly believed this was the greatest love story she’d ever known and she was finally getting her chance at the fairy tale,’ the insider claimed.
The source added: ‘She just really didn’t stop to consider who the actual man was in the fairy tale.’
The Marry Me star filed for divorce from the Argo director last month on the second anniversary of their 2022 wedding.
‘She gave this everything she had; her whole heart. She would have done anything to make this work,’ the outlet reported, adding, ‘But she didn’t want to believe it— she truly believed love would conquer all.’
‘She opened herself up to criticism, ridicule and countless naysayers who told her this was a bad idea, that it was doomed, that there was a reason it didn’t work the first time,’ the source said.

Although the Let’s Get Loud singer was juggling the dissolution of her fourth marriage, an insider told that she was excited to ‘travel to the Toronto Film Festival to promote this film since Unstoppable means a lot to her, she wants to support it.’
She is honored to have been a part of this wonderful true life narrative. An additional high point for her was acting in the film, the source said.
Jennifer wants the movie to succeed as much as possible because it has been receiving a lot of attention.
“She always puts in a lot of effort to give her movies the best chance to succeed and is very professional.”
