Hilarie Burton Morgan used social media on Monday to commemorate the 15th anniversary of her first date with husband Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

The 41-year-old actress shared a family portrait on Instagram with her husband, Jeffrey, 58, and their 14-year-old son Augustus and six-year-old daughter George Virginia, enjoying themselves at the beach.

Hilarie, who has 1.8 million followers, shared a caption on her Instagram with the remark: “Fifteen years ago, @jeffreydeanmorgan asked me to come out Memorial Day weekend and visit him in New Mexico so he could take me on a date before I left the States to live in the apartment I rented in Paris.”

‘It’s been a really long date,’ she explained.

Jeffrey commented: “You forgot awesome.” Long and really excellent. Xxx’.

Hilarie and Jeffrey have been married since October 2019.

They were set up on a blind date through Jeffrey’s Supernatural co-star Jensen Ackles, 46, and his wife Daneel, 45, who co-starred with Hilarie on One Tree Hill.

Jensen officiated their wedding.

Hilarie and Jeffrey cuddled up last month while promoting the AMC Networks in New York City.

They wore matching all-black outfits while on the carpet at the AMC Networks 2024 Upfront event.

Jeffrey has been starring in The Walking Dead franchise and Hilarie has become an AMC TV personality as the host of True Crime: It Couldn’t Happen Here, a docuseries about small-town murders.

The Walking Dead: Dead City starring Jeffrey has been filming and he was seen earlier this month wielding his ionic barbed wire bat Lucille on set in Massachusetts.

Jeffrey put on his bad boy persona for the camera while suited up in character.

The set looks magnificent, depicting a war scene in which the undead attack the living.

Actors were clothed in gas masks, leather jackets, and matching gloves while they carried tanks.

The fan-favorite post-apocalyptic horror program is expected to make waves when the second season starts, but no date has been established.

Morgan first appeared as Negan in The Walking Dead during the seventh season. He performed the character until the show’s last season, which concluded in November 2022.
