The Boys Season 5 BOMBSHELL: How Vought BURIED the TRUTH About A-Train’s DISAPPEARANCE!

With A-Train’s official exit from the Seven, Vought International is without one of its most well-known supes, and The Boys has already stated how the organization would handle this in season 5. Despite remaining loyal to Vought for the first three seasons and passing up numerous opportunities for forgiveness, A-Train finally took a better route in season 4 and left the heroic group behind. Not only was he one of The Seven’s founding members when the show debuted, but A-Train is also one of The Boys’ most powerful characters, therefore his absence from Vought will be significant in season 5.

After growing tired of being a phony hero and performing Homelander’s dirty work, A-Train reluctantly collaborated with The Boys to take down the Seven once and for all. He assisted the protagonists several times, even fighting his former allies to protect Starlight and Butcher. However, after his cover was broken, A-Train was forced to escape the city before the end of The Boys season 4, and his whereabouts are unknown. As a result, Vought will be seeking to cover up another supe exit, and the franchise has already announced its public relations approach.

Vought Has Covered Up A-Train’s Absence With A Fake Mission

Vought International’s Twitter Confirmed A-Train Has Been Deployed On A Mission Overseas

Despite being a long way away, it seems like The Boys season 5 has addressed Vought’s response to A-Train’s departure through social media. Throughout the show’s four seasons, Vought had to cover up several deaths and disappearances, as they failed to address Translucent’s absence until season 2. They also claimed Black Noir was on an overseas mission despite being murdered by Homelander, before replacing him with an actor. Vought even released false information about Soldier Boy and Starlight to cover their tracks, creating a trend of the company lying to the public, which has continued through A-Train cover-up.

The organization announced that A-Train has been deployed on an overseas mission on their Twitter account, which is very similar to the Black Noir story. Sending supes abroad seems like Vought’s go-to excuse when one of their heroes dies or leaves, as they don’t want to appear weak by revealing the true problems going on within the Seven. Given A-Train could join Butcher or The Boys in season 5’s war against Homelander, Vought will be hoping he doesn’t make a public return and the announcement of this fake mission is an obvious attempt to buy time while tracking him down.

Homelander will likely want A-Train dead after being betrayed by the supe, but Vought won’t want to publicly out him as a traitor given the Seven has already suffered several PR disasters. Therefore, the cover-up story continues Vought’s long-running history of lying to the public while trying to repair the damage behind the scenes.

A-Train Must Still Appear In The Boys Season 5 (As A Hero)

The Boys Season 4 Provided A-Train With An Incredible Redemption Arc

While there is no guarantee Jessie T. Usher will reprise his role in The Boys‘ final season, A-Train still has unfinished business and needs to return as a hero. Given Queen Maeve didn’t appear in season 4 after being written out during season 3’s finale, it’s possible A-Train’s fate also remains a mystery, but this would be a waste. He has become one of the show’s most important characters and had a great story in season 4. Additionally, he’s one of the few supes that could potentially cause Homelander problems, meaning his help may be essential to defeating the antagonist.

“Even if his return ends up costing A-Train his life, he has played too big a part in the story not to come back in season 5.”

Although he will not be the one to 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁 Homelander, seeing the two ultimately meet up would be intriguing, and it is something season 5 should feature. A-Train’s journey in The Boys season 4 also gave him a tremendous redemption arc that seemed impossible, and the sequence in which he made his first true save is definitely one of the show’s most memorable moments. Even if his homecoming costs A-Train his life, he has played too important a role in the plot to be left out, and The Boys’ final season should allow him to emerge as a true hero.
