Sovereigns William and Harry met for the first in quite a while when they went to the burial service of their uncle, Master Robert Fellowes, in Britain recently.
However, the alienated siblings didn’t express a word to one another, as per various different participants.
Princes William and Harry came face-to-face for the first in 15 months when they attended the funeral of their uncle, Lord Robert Fellowes, in England earlier this week.
The proceeded with deadlock shows that compromise is probably not going to occur in “the not so distant future,” as per regal history specialist Hugo Vickers.
“They have been in the same room, if I can put it like that, on several occasions,” Vickers told The Sun. “But this doesn’t necessarily mean that there’s going to be a reconciliation.
“I think that, from what I understand, Prince William is very annoyed, and tends to be rather unforgiving, so I think there’s an enormous amount of groundwork to be done,” he added.
Lord Robert Fellowes was married to Princess Diana’s sister, Jane. He is pictured in 2008.
“They have been in the same room, if I can put it like that, on several occasions,” Vickers told The Sun. “But this doesn’t necessarily mean that there’s going to be a reconciliation. The brothers are pictured in 2018.
“I’ve said this before on several occasions: there’s always the possibility of reconciliation, especially if both sides are prepared to give a little,” Vickers further stated.
“And let’s hope that one day this will happen. But I don’t honestly see it happening in the near future.”
The Post confirmed that Harry did attend the service for Lord Fellowes — who was married to Princess Diana’s sister Jane — at St. Mary’s Church in Snettisham, located in the county of Norfolk, this past Wednesday.
The funeral marked the first time the feuding brothers were under the same roof since their father, King Charles’ coronation in May 2023.
Since that time, Charles, has been diagnosed with cancer.
William’s wife, Princess Kate, has also been diagnosed with cancer.
William and Harry are pictured with Princess Kate and Meghan Markle following the death of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022.
An insider told The Post that Prince Harry went to the funeral “in a personal capacity,” adding that his trip was not extended. He flew in for the service and left shortly after, the source explained.
