Serena Williams puts on a VERY busty display in a black sequined gown at the CFDA Fashion Awards

Everyone was focused on tennis whiz Serena Williams as she showed up to the yearly Gathering of Style Planners of America Grants (CFDA) at the American Exhibition hall of Regular History on Monday in New York City.

As she arranged to acknowledge the Style Symbol Grant, recently presented to Naomi Campbell, Zendaya and Beyonce, during the elegant service, the resigned competitor, 42, halted to model for photographs on honorary pathway in a dark sequined outfit, planned by CFDA Director Thom Browne, with sensational sleeves and a train.

The mother of-two, who brought forth her subsequent little girl, Adira Waterway Ohanian, in August, decorated her show-preventing dress with gems from David Yurman and long brilliant braids in a low pig tail.

Prior to the event, the Olympian told CFDA: ‘Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve used fashion as an outlet to express myself – fashion gave me the confidence to step on the court and own who I was, and where I knew I was going.’

Williams said she felt ‘incredibly honored to be receiving the prestigious Fashion Icon Award from the CFDA.’

CFDA Chairman Thom Browne credited the Michigan native for ‘bringing fashion to another world’ through her tennis career as well as ‘always staying true to herself, both on and off the court.’

Prior to the event, the Olympian told CFDA: ‘Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve used fashion as an outlet to express myself – fashion gave me the confidence to step on the court and own who I was, and where I knew I was going.’

The star added, ‘But it’s hard because it’s like, ‘Oh my gosh, I could still play, and I could still do all that stuff.’….But I’m inch by inch leaning away, inch by inch embracing it.’

‘My whole life, up to now, has been tennis. My dad says I first picked up a racket when I was three, but I think it was even earlier,’ she had reminisced.
