The true definition of a fun aunt.
It’s every Swiftie’s biggest fantasy to receive a shoutout from Miss Taylor Alison Swift, let alone have a song written about them. Well, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’s daughters are living the dream because while they were seeing Swift’s The Eras Tour in Madrid, Spain, their aunt Tay referenced them from the stage.
In fan videos shard to X, the Hollywood It couple’s three daughters, James, Inez, and Betty, can be seen jumping up and down and dancing to Swift’s set alongside their mom. During the show, Swift gave her best friend’s daughters the sweetest shoutout when referencing her song “Betty” on her album Folklore. “I have to say that on Folklore, some of my favorite characters are named James, Inez and Betty,” she said. While titled “Betty,” the tune includes all three of the girls’ names in the lyrics.
Lively and the girls were also joined by Swift’s other pals, Este, Danielle, and Alana Haim. The sister band was seen jamming out alongside Lively and her kids, taking us back to the days of Swift’s famous girl squad in 2016.
Just earlier this month, Reynolds joked about Swift namedropping his and Lively’s kids in her music when asked about the moniker of their fourth child during a Today Show appearance. While Reynolds remained tight-lipped about their youngest’s name, he teased that they’re still waiting for Swift to let them know.
“We always wait for Taylor to tell us what the child’s name is, and I’ll say this: We’re still waiting,” he said before sarcastically adding that she needs to get a move on it. “She’s a prolific writer—I mean, what are we doing here? And ‘lazy’ is not a word I’d attach to Taylor.”
