Priyanka Chopra admitted that she’s been trying to get her celebrity couple nickname, Prick, a combo of Priyanka and Nick. And she said she didn’t think her husband Nick was a big fan of the ‘Prick’ nickname.

The 37 year old actress has been on tour with the newly-reunited pop group, during their Happiness Begins tour which kicked off in August.

While she was unfamiliar with the group before meeting her husband Nick Jonas, she had no trouble admitting her fandom to Fallon.

‘It’s been so great. They’re doing like 70 live shows in 3 months. I’m gonna get 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ed for this, but before I got married and started dating Nick, I didn’t know too much about the euphoria that is the Jonas Brothers. I’m a full groupie now,’ Chopra said.

Chopra also admitted that she’s been trying to get her celebrity couple nickname, Prick, a combo of Priyanka and Nick, off the ground, but it’s not working.

‘Nobody wants to call us Prick. I thought maybe if I yelled it out on your show, it’d get some traction,’ the actress added.

She added that she didn’t think her husband Nick was a big fan of the ‘Prick’ nickname, but still called him a ‘supportive husband.’

Earlier in the show, Chopra participated in a modified version of the hit YouTube series Hot Ones, a program which all of the Jonas Brothers were on in May.

When asked if she was familiar with the program, she said, ‘Yes, he almost 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ed my husband,’ referring to the show’s host, Sean Evans.

Evans was in the studio to host a Tonight Show version of Hot Ones, where he asked Chopra if she gave her Philadelphia native husband any advice before going on the show.

‘Well, I did tell him that he needs to do this for the Indians. Now that he’s married to our entire country, so he really needs to bring it home,’ she said, adding, ‘He did me very proud.’

While Chopra is no stranger to spicy foods, having been raised in India, she said she was nervous about her Hot Ones appearance.

‘I love spice, but the escalation of it is making me nervous,’ she said.

After trying the hottest sauce, known as Da Bomb, Priyanka said, ‘Why do we do this to ourselves?!’

She even told Evans, ‘I’m crying. How do you do this every day?’ while also taking to her Instagram story to share some snaps of her trying to cool down.

She appeared on the show to promote her new movie The Sky Is Pink, which hits theaters on October 11.

She shared a photo of a promotional event in India, where 60,000 people showed up to.

‘It was in a school, literally a college. We wanted to talk about the movie and 60,000 people showed up. The population of India helped.’

As for the movie itself, Chopra said, ‘It’s a true life story about a family who found out when she was 1, she might not have a long life but she was going to have a big life. I feel this movie is so inspiring in a world where we’re so disjointed from our families.’
