Team USA women’s basketball team had a rather easy outing against the Germany women’s team.
Angel Reese, Kevin Durant, and Steph Curry
Angel Reese was spotted alongside the Suns’ Kevin Durant and Warriors’ Steph Curry at O2 Arena on the 23rd of July. They were seated front row to watch the US vs Germany basketball showdown. This was Team USA’s final match before entering the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Reese opted for an all-black attire, matched by Durant while Curry wore an all-blue fit. Besides them, Tyrese Haliburton and Bam Adebayo were also spotted in the stadium to watch the match. Both the US teams will be heading to Paris for the Olympics.
The trio cheered Team US as they beat Germany with a score of 84-57. The team bounced back after the defeat against Chicago Sky in the WNBA All-Star game featuring Angel Reese and Caitlyn Clark. Previously, she had also appeared to watch the men’s Team USA’s final match against Germany in London. This men’s basketball team aced the warm-up games with 5-0. Durant, however, did not appear for the exhibition games due to an injury. His participation in the initial Olympic games’ opener is doubtful.

While Reese was not selected to be on the team, she has shown her support throughout. She has some time before the WNBA season resumes on Aug. 15 following the Olympic break. Therefore, she will also be travelling to Paris to attend the Olympics.
Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese put an end to the rivalry
Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese played alongside in the same team in the WNBA All-Star game. The 22-year-old rookie players grabbed the attention of the public awaiting to see the rivals teaming up. Much to the audiences’ liking, they made an amazing pair and beat team US ahead of the Olympic games.
The WNBA fans had a field day in the All-Star games. During an in-game interview, Angel Reese talked about how it was great to play with her. Further, she hoped that they get to play together again and be Olympians together in 2028.
The Clark-Reese rivalry is one of the most epic stories in basketball. The rookie duo made it together from college to professional ranks boosting the sports popularity alongside.
