“He can’t declare what he wants. So, boobs!” Lively said while sharing details of Olin’s first birthday celebrations
Blake Lively made a unique cake for her son’s first birthday.
During a recent interview with BBC Radio 2’s Zoe Ball and Friends, keen baker Lively, 36, explained how she created a boob cake to celebrate her and Ryan Reynolds’ youngest child Olin’s milestone.
“My birthday cakes always have a little bit of a sense of humor, for my 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 I just did a giant set of t—,” the It Ends with Us star told host Ball, 53, in a clip from the chat posted on Instagram on Aug. 16.
“Which I feel like will haunt him for life,” Lively jokingly added, insisting, “But, what do they want at one? He can’t declare what he wants. So, boobs!”
The Gossip Girl star told Ball, “I’ll show you a picture after, they’re pretty amazing,” before clarifying, “Of the cake, not of mine… Also amazing though.”
As Lively got up to leave the interview, for which she was promoting her new movie, she told the crew, “The cake is amazing, you do need to see that cake! You all need to see the cake.”
It was revealed Lively and her husband Reynolds, 47, had welcomed their fourth 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 in February 2023. The couple, who married in 2012, also share daughters James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4, together.
Reynolds revealed Olin’s 𝓈ℯ𝓍 in July while talking to Wrexham AFC fan, John Bell, in an emotional Instagram post about Bell turning his late son Jake’s death into something positive.
“I want to share with you that I too have a son and that if … boy, John, if I love him one-tenth as much as you love Jake, I feel like I’ve done a pretty damn good job,” Reynolds told Bell in the clip.
Before that, Reynolds revealed Olin’s name while delivering a heartfelt speech at the Deadpool & Wolverine N.Y.C premiere at the David H. Koch Theater on July 22.
He sent love to his and Lively’s children, naming them and adding, “I love that my entire family is here.”
Reynolds and Lively are known to generally keep details about their family private, but the Canadian actor did say on the Today show in 2022 that the actress, who was pregnant with Olin at the time, didn’t know what they were having, adding that the couple “never find out ’til [they’re born].”
