The actress shares daughters James, Inez and Betty, as well as son Olin, with husband Ryan Reynolds
Blake Lively is opening up about how having kids has changed her life.
The It Ends with Us star, 36, is a mom to daughters James, 9, Inez, 7, Betty, 4, and a 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 son Olin, whom she shares with her husband, Ryan Reynolds. In a candid conversation with Vogue, the mom of four revealed that having kids has led her to become more deliberate about what projects she chooses to take on.
“My life has become more intimate,” the Gossip Girl alum described how things have changed since she welcomed her kids.
It’s clear that being a mother is Lively’s number one priority, as earlier in the interview, she attempted to contain her kids from running around her. In the midst of her mom duties, she shared, “Sitting around with them doing chicken dances while I have a very serious conversation with you is probably the most accurate portrait of me possible.”
Colleen Hoover, the author of the book that inspired Lively’s latest film, also spoke to Vogue about Lively’s commitment to motherhood.
“She could be on a phone call with, it doesn’t matter, the freaking Pope,” the It Ends with Us author said, “and if her kid walks into the room, she’s gonna give one hundred percent of her attention to her children.”
“As a mom, I just really fell in love with that part of her,” she added of the actress.
Reynolds, 47, loves being a dad to the couple’s four kids just as much as Lively loves being their mom. In fact, the Deadpool & Wolverine star recently shared that he wants to have as many kids “as possible.”
“The more the merrier,” Reynolds teased in an interview with E! News .
“As many as possible,” he continued. “As many little heartbeats as possible, just running around, wrecking stuff in the house. I love it. Let’s have more!”
It Ends with Us premieres in theaters on Aug. 9.
