Steelers’ training camp continues through August 14.
Typically, the Super Bowl MVP announces their post-game intentions in a television commercial, exclaiming, “I’m going to Disney World!”
Russell Wilson, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ incoming quarterback, opted to get the Disney trip out of the way before the season even started.

Last week, Wilson and his wife, R&B star Ciara, brought their family to the Orlando theme park on the occasion of son Win’s fourth birthday. Pictured posing and smiling with Mickey Mouse in front of Cinderella’s castle, the family was reported to have taken a ride on the newly opened ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure — a rebranding of the former Splash Mountain.
An Instagram reel posted by Ciara also showed the family on other Magic Kingdom rides.
The trip didn’t prevent Wilson from arriving in time for Steelers’ training camp at Saint Vincent College — though he hasn’t yet seen much practice, as the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Gerry Dulac reports that Wilson strained a calf muscle during a day-one sled push.
Training camp continues through August 14; the Steelers’ season kicks off Sept. 8. Disney World, of course, is open daily.
