Nick and Priyanka wed in a traditional Western ceremony in Mumbai, India on December 1, 2018 and continued the next day with a Hindu ceremony.
Priyanka joked to James Corden on The Late Late Show that she had 32 ceremonies.
Corden asked her on-air: ‘Can I be honest? I did feel like I kept hearing that you were getting married, and it was like, didn’t you have 19 ceremonies or something like that?’
‘Oh, that’s an exaggeration. Just about 32,’ Priyanka joked in return.
Corden also inquired about the nickname that the people of India gave Nick in the days leading up to their wedding – ‘national jiju,’ which means ‘national brother-in-law.’
‘He’s basically married to the whole country,’ Priyanka said, laughing. ‘Or anyone who’s Indian. All of them.’
‘That’s a lot of pressure,’ Corden replied.
Nick and Priyanka began dating in May of 2018.
