Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas’ love story had started with a DM on Twitter in 2016. Afterwards, they had accompanied each other to the Met Gala in 2017. It was at the Vanity Fair Oscar’s after-party where Nick had fallen head-over-heels in love with Priyanka. Nick and Priyanka’s hush-hush roka ceremony on August 18, 2018, was followed by a grand, romantic proposal.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas had gotten married on December 1-2, 2018, according to both Christian and Hindu rituals at the Umaid Bhawan Palace. The two had stunned everyone with their beautiful attires designed by Ralph Lauren and Sabyasachi Mukherjee for the wedding. Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ memoir, Unfinished had released worldwide sometime ago, and the actress is receiving huge praises and congratulatory messages from across the globe.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas sat down with legendary talk show host, Oprah Winfrey, and talked at length about her life and revealed some secrets. Talking about Nick’s first impression on her, Priyanka said, “I didn’t honestly take it seriously when Nick was texting me. I was 35, I was like I want to get married, I want to have kids, and he is in his 20s, and I don’t know if that’s something he’d want to do. I did that to myself for a while, till I actually went out with him and nothing surprised me more than him. He’s such a self-assured man. So sensible. So excited about my achievements, my dreams. Such a true partnership that he offers me in everything that we do together.”

Earlier, in a conversation with SiriusXM, Nick Jonas was promoting his recently-released album, Spacemen and had talked about his wife, Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The singer had admitted that he’s lucky to have Priyanka in his life and had revealed what sets her apart from all the ladies he had dated. In his words, “It’s just that magical connection you’ve got with somebody when it’s right. We’re very lucky.” Nick had also added that the biggest blessing in their relationship is the beautiful fact that they were friends before they had started dating each other.

Talking about the same, he had added, “We knew each other well before we started dating properly, and I think that foundation as friends always helps in relationships that have evolved in an organic way. It’s been a wild first couple of years of marriage, and I’m very blessed to have a life partner that I can rely on, and vice versa hopefully.”

In an interview with the Harper Bazaar, Priyanka had talked about the reason behind dating Nick. She had revealed that it was his music video, Close, which had made her fall in love with him. Talking about the same, she had said, “My life has always been pretty musical, and now with Nick, it’s completely musical. I decided to date him after seeing the video for ‘Close,’ where his shirt comes off. So that song is my favourite.”  In an interview with Access Hollywood, Nick Jonas had talked about his big proposal and had revealed that Priyanka had taken 45 minutes to reply. The singer had explained the whole proposal story and had said, “It was tough (the proposal). I eventually just had to say I’m going to put this on your finger and then you tell me after if it’s a no but I’m tired of waiting.”
