Anthony Joshua has sent Carl Froch another ‘barrage of abuse’ on WhatsApp, according to the latter.
The Cobra has called on ‘plastic gangster’ AJ to meet him face-to-face and deal with their feud ‘like men’, hinting at releasing more damning messages if he does not.
Their spat was ignited in public last week when Froch shared screenshots of messages from Joshua and branded him ’embarrassing’.
Joshua had previously described Froch as a ‘pr***’ in an interview before doubling down on that and sending him a video counting money, saying: ‘get on my level’.
‘I’ve shared 10 per cent of the messages. I mean, it’s schoolboy stuff,’ Froch told BestOnlinePokerSites.

The Cobra has called on AJ to meet him face-to-face and sort their quarrel ‘like a man’
‘It’s like plastic gangsters. It’s pathetic really, it’s childish and it’s a bit ridiculous.
‘I think he’ll be cringing to himself at that. I’ve shared it because, why should I be abused by somebody in this position and be called that name?
‘I’ve kept 90 percent of what he’s said away. He’s messaged me again, overnight, and deleted four of the messages.
‘I’ve had a barrage of abuse, direct to me but I don’t mind meeting up and dealing with it like men.
‘If you’re going to do little backstab jibes and send me messages, abusing me, and then deleting stuff, and then you don’t pick your phone up when I try to give you a call to have a conversation with you man to man, then what am I going to do? I’m going to expose you for what you are. ‘
Joshua has sizeable fish to fry in the coming months as he has a date pencielled in with Daniel Dubois – September 21, Wembley, for a shot at the vacant IBF world heavyweight title.
Joshua, a two-time former unified world heavyweight champion, has been rebuilding his career after a tricky spell.
Between 2019 and 2022 he lost three of his five fights – once to Andy Ruiz Jr. and twice to Oleksandr Usyk.

However, since then, he has won four fights in a row, including a rapid knockout job on Francis Ngannou in March in Saudi Arabia.
All the same, Froch has rubbished his legacy. Last week, he rebuked Joshua as he spilled his WhatsApp messages into the online world via his Froch on Fighting YouTube channel.
He began: ‘So he’s called me a ‘pr***’ and I’ve gone back to him saying “who are you f***ing calling a pr***’?
‘He’s come back and said “I don’t like you,” and fair enough, you don’t like me, but all I’ve done is been honest and given constructive criticism on what you’ve done since losing to Ruiz and Usyk, and where you’re going now you’re fighting Dubois.
‘There’s no need to get personal, no need to start on a man’s hooter – looking pretty good by the way.
‘And then you’ve got your £10 and £20 notes rolled out on your bed saying [“get on my level, get on my level”] levels, it’s all about levels.
‘Where’s the humble guy gone? Where’s “remain humble, stay humble” [quoting Joshua].
‘He’s talking about levels and says I’m not on his level. But he’s talking about money. Fair play to him – he’s made a fortune, he’s smashed it.
Froch questioned where Joshua’s humility had gone and mocked him for quitting against Andy Ruiz Jr.
Joshua is rebuilding after a tricky patch – including two defeats by Oleksandr Usyk – and has won four fights in a row
‘But let’s talk about levels in terms of legacy and fights and career wins. A little fat kid from Mexico made him quit for f***’s sake. He spat his gumshield out and was looking around, looking for the corner, looking for the people in the crowd to help him out.
‘He got punched from pillar to post. The referee is looking at him – “do you want to carry on, do you want to keep fighting?” And what’s he done? He’s quit on his feet.
‘That is embarrassing – something the Cobra would never, ever do. And he can take that to the bank!’
