‘Now that I’m not feeling so heavy and mentally burdened, I can actually have some f***ing fun and have long nails and dance and flirt.’

The record, produced by El Guincho and Jasper Harris, was inspired by the ‘eclectic rhythms and sounds of her hometown.’

I LUV IT was released in March as the lead single from C,XOXO, and features Camila singing to a lover: ‘Kiss me hard – someday, you’ll miss this meteor shower in your power, seeing stars, oh my God….’

She released a statement to accompany the tune, revealing how the instability in her personal love life influenced the lyrics.

She admitted: ‘Certain things in our human realm do make me feel like I’m in outer space, and one of them is having tremendous chemistry with someone.

‘There’s different ways of doing that, through art and music, and I always try to keep myself accountable.’
