It’s a love tale on the Eras Tour!
Taylor Swift graciously congratulated a couple after witnessing their engagement during her mixed “Folklore” and “Evermore” set at her Eras Tour show in Edinburgh, Scotland on Friday night.
“I love performing this entire show in the sunlight ’cause I’m pretty sure I just, like, saw somebody get engaged over here,” the pop artist told the crowd at Murrayfield Stadium in a video posted on Threads.

She enthusiastically added, “Man, that’s amazing … Thanks for doing that at my concert; that’s a big moment!”

Once fans confirmed the good news, the 34-year-old “Karma” hitmaker lifted both arms in the air and exclaimed, “Yes!”
“Congratulations, wow!” she said. “I just watched the whole thing. Wow, that is incredible… Thank you for doing that at my show; it was a huge moment!”
Swift’s concert on Friday night was the first of three scheduled in Scotland.
She then travels throughout the United Kingdom, stopping in Liverpool, Cardiff, London, and Dublin before heading to Europe.
The exciting event happened as Swift and Travis Kelce are at the center of engagement chatter.
An insider even exclusively told Page Six in January that they plan on getting engaged around their first anniversary in July.
The milestone moment for Swift’s Scottish fans comes as engagement rumors continue to swirl around the Grammy winner herself and her NFL star beau, Travis Kelce.
Earlier this year, a person close to the famous couple told Page Six that Swift and Kelce have “discussed” taking the next step in their relationship and that “there is a plan.”
“They will get engaged on their one-year anniversary in July,” the source further claimed.
The “Fearless” singer and NFL star went public with their relationship last September.
Swift attended several of his NFL games last season, while Kelce has traveled all over the world to watch her perform.
In March, Kelce, 34, fanned engagement rumors by discussing lab-grown diamonds on his “New Heights” podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce.
Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who have been dating for about a year, made their relationship public in September 2023 when the “Lover” singer cheered Travis at Arrowhead Stadium.
She subsequently revealed details about their relationship at her Time Person of the Year profile in December 2023, explaining why they chose to confirm their romance.
Swift explained last December that she and Travis don’t feel the need to hide their romance.
“I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she explained.
“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” Swift said at the time.
A close friend of Travis recently stated that he thinks the couple will marry soon.
Patrick Regan said on the “Your Day Off” show this past Monday of the superstars getting married, “Hopefully soon, that’ll be fun.”
