r to have put their infamous feud behind them after being pictured together while on holiday in Dubai.
Khan, who was recently handed a two-year ban from boxing after failing a drugs test in the wake of his defeat against Kell Brook last year, sensationally accused Joshua of having an affair with his wife Faryal in a series of now-deleted tweets back in 2017.
After announcing he and Faryal were ending their marriage at the time, the former unified light-welterweight champion later wrote: ‘Faryal moved on quick. Always mentioned to me how much she wanted to be with another guy, from all people another boxer @anthonyfjoshua’.
He concluded the outburst by saying: ‘Mans like Joshua can have my left overs!’
However, Joshua quickly rubbished the allegations by sharing a video of the song ‘It Wasn’t Me’ by Shaggy and adding: ‘Bantz aside, I hope you guys can resolve your situation or this is a hack as we have never even met! Plus I like my women BBW #ItWasntMe.’

A few months later Khan indicated he had patched things up with Joshua by writing on Twitter: ‘@anthonyfjoshua glad all is cleared up and all lies. I got angry like any man would. No truth to it. Good to know. All the best’.
AJ then replied: ‘Apology accepted.’
Khan has since expressed regret over the accusations, admitting they were completely unwarranted and had cost him a ‘good friend’ in Joshua.
And six years on, the British boxing duo seem to have buried the hatchet after linking up out in Dubai.
Both Khan and Joshua shared photos on Instagram of their unlikely reunion this week, with the former captioning his post: ‘Champ’.
Faryal also gave her seal of approval by commenting a raising hands emoji.
Explaining his fallout with Joshua to Gary Neville on SkyBet’s The Overlap last year, Khan said: ‘I had the problem with Anthony Joshua which I feel really bad for because at the end of the day I put him in the firing line for no reason.
‘I mean he was a friend of mine and since then we’ve never spoken. So I lost a good friend through that as well.’
He also added: ‘The guy did nothing wrong and I kind of stuck it on him really.’

Amir and Faryal have three children together and have been married since 2013
Amir and Faryal have been married since 2013 and have three children together. In 2021, the couple starred in their own BBC TV series, Meet the Khans.
Earlier this month Khan became the latest British fighter to become engulfed in a drugs scandal after it was revealed he tested positive for anabolic agent ostarine following his stoppage defeat at the hands of Brook last year.
Despite retiring from the sport, the Bolton man has been slapped with a two-year suspension from boxing, although UK Anti-Doping are confident he did not consume the substance intentionally.
Khan is adamant he did not knowingly take ostarine and bizarrely suggested shaking hands with people after the fight could have led to his positive test.
Joshua, meanwhile, returned to the ring in a shut-out points victory over Jermaine Franklin on April 1.
