Anthony Edwards Receives Brutal 50 Cent Treatment From Rapper Cam’Ron, Over Adidas Disrespect: “Fu*k Wrong With You?”

After his first signature shoe commercial with Adidas went viral, Anthony Edwards became the target of critics, including actor and rapper Cam’ron. Upon hearing his name used in the commercial, Cam’ron responded with a scathing rap verse mocking Edwards, delivered in the form of a song. This isn’t the first time Cam’ron has used music to target celebrities in the public eye. Just a month prior, he used a similar tactic on rappers 50 Cent and Nas during an Instagram Live. These incidents highlight the ongoing feuds and rivalries that sometimes exist within the rap industry.

Furthermore, In the same way, that Cam’ron used his platform to target his fellow rappers, he dropped a verbal bomb on both Anthony Edwards and Adidas. This situation raises questions about the potential pitfalls of associating with celebrities for endorsements. It also sparks controversy between these two prominent figures in their respective fields. This article will delve into the ongoing controversy.

Cam’ron fires back at Anthony Edward’s Adidas ad!

Cam’ron known for his controversial behavior, has a long history of sparking feuds with other celebrities. In this instance, an Adidas ad for Anthony Edward’s new “AE 1” shoe called him a “f**k buddy”, which didn’t sit well with Cam’ron. When the commercial went viral caught Cam’ron’s attention. He responded by releasing a freestyle rap on the podcast “It Is What It Is” dissing not only Edwards but more importantly Adidas.

In the rap, the verse that got the most highlighted by Cam’ron is, “But f**k wrong with Ant-Man, I gave him his props, homie got love from me, new commercial, y’ll ain’t love for me.” Cam’ron also revealed that he always supported Minnesota Timberwolves players but this ad broke his heart. Furthermore, Cam’ron warns Edwards that he might be dropped by Adidas soon, similar to Kanye West’s situation if he maintains this kind of decorum and continues to create controversy as an athlete representing Adidas.

Cam’ron didn’t stop there. Alongside podcast host Ma$e, they delved deeper into the commercial further. Cam’ron became emotional and explained himself, emphasizing that he didn’t intend to be disrespectful. However, he felt that what Adidas and Anthony Edwards did to him was disrespectful. He even has consistent support for Edwards throughout every NBA career. As of now, there is no official statement released from Anthony Edwards or Adidas.

How did Cam’ron and Adidas spark this situation?

In the Adidas commercial, Anthony Edwards is seen playing basketball. Next to him, a machine spits out tickets with comments from his haters, presumably culled from social media or interviews. In the video, Edwards makes a shot, and the machine spits out a ticket with a comment from NBA star Carmelo Anthony, questioning whether Edwards is ready to face the league’s pressure.

In his reply, Anthony Edwards didn’t say anything controversial. However, when the ticket machine spat out a comment from Cam’ron claiming Edwards is “an All-Star but not a superstar;” Edward fired back with a disrespectful “F**k buddy.” This sparked the entire controversy.

Anthony Edward’s performance wasn’t just about the controversy. He was also notable for his contributions on the court. While Minnesota boasted the league’s best defense, not necessarily due to Edward’s offensive prowess, his overall effort helped the Timberwolves battle their way to finals. Although they fell short, his performance solidified him as one of the league’s best players.
