Britain’s Got Talent golden buzzer star Sydnie Christmas has revealed she is dating a handsome Italian actor who has also starred in musicals.

Max Rizzo, from Sicily, is a talented singer like his girlfriend Sydnie, 28, and is signed to a management agency that finds rising stars.

The performer, who starred in the musical The Starlight Express with Sydnie, can be seen in social media snaps posing topless while modelling a pair of Calvin Klein underwear.

Taking to his Instagram Story on Monday, Max revealed his pride as his girlfriend appeared on ITV‘s Lorraine to discuss her dazzling Britain’s Got Talent audition.

Sharing a video of Sydnie chatting to host Lorraine Kelly, he wrote: ‘My 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 on Lorraine this morning’ alongside two red love hearts.

On Saturday, Sydnie wowed the BGT judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Toniolo, with her incredible performance of the ballad Tomorrow from the musical Annie.

She won a standing ovation from all four judges, and received Amanda’s golden buzzer sending her straight through to the semi-final.

However, the singer faced some criticism from ITV viewers as they insisted Sydnie was already famous.

Lorraine asked if she had ever starred on the West End, Sydnie replied:  ‘No!’

The presenter continued: ‘You’ve never done any of that. You’ve always wanted to. This is your dream isn’t it?’

Sydnie revealed it has always been her dream to perform on a West End stage after previously entertaining holiday goers on cruise ships.

She said: ‘I just aspire to, I want to be a leading lady. That’s the dream! That’s the aim.’

Lorraine replied: ‘And so you can be, as we saw there. I must admit I’m with Simon Cowell there, you absolutely – gosh, I sound like one of the judges now – made it your own. You really did.’

Sydnie went on to give musical theatre star Marisha Wallace, who recently appeared in the Celebrity Big Brother house, credit for inspiring her.

She said: ‘The first time I heard that version, Marisha Wallace done that version and I heard it.

‘I was like I’ve got to give this a go. It was just amazing. The song speaks to so many people doing it. Doing it as an adult, doing it the way Marisha done it, has a totally different meaning.’
