VIDEO: New Camera Angle Caught Chicago Sky Player Calling Caitlin Clark A Very Offensive Name Before Body Checking Her To The Floor

Indiana went into the contest with a 1-8 record but got their first home win of the season, albeit via the slimmest of margins.
Clark was the victim of a nasty body check from Sky shooting guard Chennedy Carter, with the play going viral. Still, it was only adjudged to be a common foul, with Caitlin being awarded a free throw due to the ball still being out of bounds at the time.
Another angle shows an irate Carter calling Clark the “B-word” before decking her, and we don’t mean “Baller.”
Check it out right below:
Clark – who wasn’t all that shaken up by the play, though she must have been shocked as she didn’t see it coming despite the verbal warning – sank a free throw that ended up being crucial as the Fever won by a single point.

Caitlin Clark Discusses Chennedy Carter’s Nasty Body Check
Caitlin Clark spoke to ESPN after her 11-point performance and was asked about the foul.
“Yeah, that’s just not a basketball play,” she said (H/T the New York Post). “But you know I’ve gotta play through it, that’s what basketball is about at this level. I thought we’ve been really physical, we’ve missed some bunnies around the rim, so hopefully those fall in the fourth.”
Since being drafted as the No. 1 overall pick back in April, Clark has been treated to some pretty rough stuff. Hardly a game goes by without the Fever rookie taking a cheap shot.
Still, she’s dealt with the experience quite well and will hope to build on Saturday’s win.

ANGEL REESE FANS CALL FOR ALYSSA THOMAS SANCTION LIKE DRAYMOND GREEN’S AFTER ‘STRANGLING’ HER
There has been a lot of attention on Thomas for what she did.
Connecticut Suns star Alyssa Thomas has come under a huge amount of pressure from Chicago Sky fans after her rough treatment of Angel Reese during their WNBA clash.
Thomas appeared to choke-slam Reese during the game and now Reese’s fans want to see some serious punishment for her opponent.
Thomas grabbed Reese from the neck late in the third quarter while she was airborne and slammed her into the ground, which clearly caused the Sky player a lot of pain.
The Sky rookie quickly grabbed the back of her head as she tried to make sense of what happened. Upon review of the foul, it was upgraded to a Flagrant 2, resulting to Thomas’ ejection.
Fans anger at Alyssa Thomas
It didn’t take long for fans to start criticising Thomas.
“A total disgrace,” a commenter wrote. Another viewer shared: “From the first angle barely looked like a flagrant but from the second angle that was baddddd.”
A third social media user shared: “She needs some game suspensions like Draymond Green that was ridiculous.”
“She needs to be out for a couple of games. This was so uncalled for,” another said.
One fan thought that jealousy of Reese’s popularity was behind the move: “The jealousy directed at the rookies this season is ridiculous!”
No further decision has been taken yet by the WNBA about Thomas’ foul, but you can bet that Reese’s fans will not forget it when the Suns and the Sky take each other on again later in the season.

VIDEO: CAITLIN CLARK CAUGHT SCREAMING AT KATE MARTIN IN FEVER-ACES
On Saturday night, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever went up against Kate Martin and the Las Vegas Aces.
This was the first time the two former Iowa Hawkeyes teammates went up against each other in the WNBA. Martin took the first head-to-head matchup with a 99-80 win.
Clark had a below-average game, recording just eight points, five rebounds, and seven assists. Martin, however, had her best game as a pro, scoring 12 points and grabbing seven rebounds.
During the final stretch of the game, when Martin was inbounding the ball for the Aces, Clark was seen screaming at Martin to distract her from making a pass. It was all in good fun though.
