Bombshell Reveal: The Boys’ New Leader’s Startling Message Stuns Fans Before Season 4!

Marvin T. “Mother’s” Milk (a.k.a. M.M.), the Boys’ new team captain, establishes some ground rules for the titular group in a humorous season 4 video. Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) created and commanded the squad, but his lies, secrets, and selfish decisions regularly put the team under strain. His decision to collaborate with Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) and lie about the consequences of V24 was the final straw, prompting his boys to look for a new capable leader in the form of M.M.

In a new video from The Boys’ official Twitter account, M.M. appeared to be embracing his role as team captain in The Boys season 4.

The video highlights M.M.’s meticulous organization s𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁s as he unveils five new rules for the team pertaining to Post-It notes, petty cash requests, file keeping, checking out weapons, and desk cleanliness. Although his rules sound a little humorous, he is clearly asserting his authority as he concludes, “Five simple rules. Easy. And if you don’t like it, you can eat my d–k.” M.M. also specifically calls Butcher out, highlighting the new change in leadership.

What M.M.’s Leadership Means for The Boys Season 4

The Boys season 4 video teases the shakeup the vigilante group will experience heading into the new episodes. Butcher, after losing his stepson and facing the terminal effects of V24, has now also lost his team, with M.M. taking over as leader. The choice is understandable, considering M.M. has always been a natural-born leader, with his wisdom, loyalty, and ability to keep his composure. Despite also having a reason to hate the Supes that destroyed his family, he never lets his personal vendetta get in the way of the team’s well-being, as Butcher is notorious for doing.

In the trailer for The Boys season 4, Hughie Campbell (Jack Quaid) describes wanting to turn over a new leaf with the team. Fed up with the violence, he suggests the team start acting a little more human, and with M.M. in charge, wishes like Hughie’s may actually carry some weight. However, the leadership change could also be problematic by resulting in a power struggle between M.M. and Butcher. Butcher is still in the picture and presents the team with an unhinged plot to infect all Supes with a deadly virus.

M.M. is gaining control of the lads, but it’s uncertain whether he can persuade them to follow his lead rather than Butcher’s. The Boys’ season 3 finale also left M.M. and Butcher in a difficult situation, with the former appearing ready to give up on his friend after so many betrayals and disappointments. Instead of making peace, the two may escalate their conflict as they compete for the boys’ devotion. Finally, it will be intriguing to watch how The Boys’ titular team performs under M.M.’s direction.
