Oprah Winfrey looked chic in another all-purple outfit as she continued promoting “The Color Purple” in New York, showing off her slim figure after admitting to using weight-loss pills earlier this week.
The media mogul wore a pair of lavender wide-leg pants with a coordinating crop top jacket, underneath a satin top of the same color.
Winfrey donned a brighter purple jacket, which opened to reveal her toned body as cameras flashed.
The former talk show host — who serves as a producer on the 2023 film adaptation of “The Color Purple” — wore her hair curly, in a half-up, carrying a matching lavender purse and briefcase. her signature round glasses as she took to the stage that night in New York.
Oprah admitted she got some help on her weight loss journey, telling People that she used prescription medication, though she did not specify whether it was the same medication the celebrity took or not. Love Ozempic or not.
“The fact that there’s a medically approved prescription for managing weight and staying healthier, in my lifetime, feels like relief, like redemption, like a gift, and not something to hide behind and once again be ridiculed for,” she said.
Although Winfrey previously called drugs like Ozempic “the easy way out,” the “Beloved” actress told People that she had a change of heart after taking part in a panel with experts in the medical industry this summer.
“I’m absolutely done with the shaming from other people and particularly myself,” the “Oprah Daily” founder added.
The star has certainly been having fun showing off her trim figure, rocking a variety of purple ‘fits for the “Color Purple” press tour including everything from a custom Dolce & Gabbana evening gown to a Stella McCartney set that revealed a hint of tummy.
She also rocked the ultimate high-low look, wearing a sequin-covered Oscar de la Renta coat ($11,990 $5,995) with a pair of $89 rhinestone-covered Betsey Johnson sneakers while lighting up the Empire State Building purple.
