The new sandwich shop owned by Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix has been extremely busy, as a social media influencer ‘waited in line for FOUR hours’ before leaving without any food.

A popular Bravo podcaster has launched a scathing tirade against the sandwich shop owned by Vanderpump Rules stars Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix.

Sarah Fraser attended the opening of the Something About Her eatery in West Hollywood on Wednesday and claimed that she waited almost four hours before eventually leaving without being served.

In an unhinged video shared to Instagram, Fraser raged about the wait time and said the service was ‘terrible’.

anting into the camera, Fraser said, ‘Do you think after waiting nearly four hours that I got a sandwich at Something About Her?’

She continued, ‘Do you think at any point they came around with samples or a free cookie [or] a shred of peanut butter and jelly which is on their menu?’

The eatery had its grand opening on Wednesday, but Fraser claims that she waited in line for four hours before leaving without being served

Earlier in the day, Fraser posted videos of herself waiting in line with throngs of baying Bravo fans.

‘Send help! We’ve been waiting 3hrs for #somethingabouther and they have run out of 3 sandwiches so far,’ she captioned one post.

Fraser then released a brutal podcast about her experience with the restaurant, titling the episode, ‘Something About Her was HORRIBLE! Why I won’t be back!’

Diving into her review – which she partially walked back the next day after backlash fom Madix’s fans – the former radio host said, ‘I just came from the worst f***ing sandwich shop that I have ever experienced in my life!

‘Zero stars! I will NEVER be back! Do you hear that? Now am I hangry? I’m hangry.’

Fraser explained that she was initially ‘so excited’ to attend the opening and insisted that she had a long history of supporting small businesses.

However, after waiting in line with nothing to eat and little to drink, Fraser vowed never to return to the premises again.

She also blasted Maloney and Madix for not offering free samples and coupons to customers in line, and said that staff did a poor job of communicating the wait times and availability of certain sandwiches.

‘The only people who were getting updates were maybe the first ten people in line,’ she complained.

She also said that she’d had ‘hardly any water all day’ and blasted the shop for opening their doors at 10:20am – despite advertising a 10am opening time.

‘I’m so upset, I’m so flustered and I’m so hangry,’ she said, calling it ‘terrible customer service’.

‘I cannot even. I am so good, I am so done. I don’t even think I need to watch the show anymore, quite frankly.’

Despite her many complaints, Fraser gave Maloney and Madix some credit towards the end of her rant and admitted that many Vanderpump Rules fans who showed up to the shop had left satisfied.

‘People were happy to see them, people that ate sandwiches there said that they were delicious,’ she admitted.

Fraser also revealed that the restaurant’s point of sale system went down throughout the day, which contributed to the delays.

It was a full house as Vanderpump Rules viewers scoffed sandwiches inside the venue

She received a mixed reception from Bravo fans for her rant, with some supporting her brutal honesty – while others said she’d taken her criticism too far.

‘Love this! Glad someone being honest and not gassing the place up because it’s flop Katie and Ariana,’ wrote one fan.

‘Sarah is giving her opinion based on her experience. A four hour wait for a sandwich is just ridiculous,’ wrote another.

‘I can’t imagine being this upset over an opening day at a business. This anger is highly unhinged,’ added another.

Some fans also said that Fraser had been foolish to go to Something About Her on opening day, and that it would’ve been smarter to wait until the fanfare had died down.

‘With their fanbase, never go on opening day. Wait a few weeks. IMO, you made the wrong call. Not a fair assessment,’ commented one.

Another wrote, ‘ I mean they are popular Vanderpump Rules stars, it was day one… isn’t it on the people in line on whether they want to stand in line for a few minutes or a few hours?’

One fan who drove nearly an hour from Santa Clarita to attend the opening claimed that they had been standing behind Fraser in line, and offered a ‘different perspective’ of what happened that day.

‘I drove from Santa Clarita. I’m 49, I have Lupus and [rheumatoid arthritis]. I went knowing that I would probably be standing in line for hours and I still made the decision to go. I met a lot of new people in line,’ she wrote.

They continued, ‘I made the best of it. I was bummed I didn’t get to purchase sandwiches and yes, it would’ve been great if someone was passing out samples and talking to the crowd but I wasn’t expecting that at all.

‘I was happy the girls came and talked to us when they ran out of food and apologized and took pics with us. I’m definitely not going to join in a bashing bandwagon. I will definitely go back in a few weeks.’

Fraser later changed her tune and removed the podcast episode, before uploading a new version where she admitted that she’d been ‘out of pocket’ and ‘unhinged’ due to a lack of food that day.

‘I hate getting that worked up – you miss communicating your points,’ she explained.

‘But I stand by everything that I said on yesterday’s emergency podcast.’

Fraser also defended her decision to wait in line for four hours, insisting that she would never have waited that long if somebody had come out and informed her that she wouldn’t get served before closing time.

Something About Her officially opened for business in West Hollywood on Wednesday

Maloney and Madix previously held a ‘soft opening’ with celebrity guests, including Stassi Shroeder and Andy Cohen

Something About Her officially opened for business in West Hollywood on Wednesday — following over two years of unexpected delays.

Vanderpump Rules fans arrived bright and early in the hopes of being the first to check out the Parisian-style eatery, with lines stretched down the busy block.

Madix and Maloney — who hosted a ‘soft opening’ over the weekend — first embarked on their joint business venture in 2021 with plans to open in 2023.

But the ladies faced a laundry list of challenges, including tricky permits, staffing changes and major refurbishments done to appease the LA health department.

These setbacks inspired brutal online discourse as fans expressed doubt that the restaurant would ever open and others even speculated that it was just part of a fake reality TV storyline.

‘I know it’s been a really long time coming and that’s felt by everyone,’ Maloney told Andy Cohen on WWHL last month as she confirmed the May grand opening.

‘If we could have opened six months ago plus, we absolutely would have, but it’s been completely out of our hands. But we’re so excited.’

And that excitement was evident as Maloney, 37, and Madix, 38, welcomed first-time customers on Wednesday under the restaurant’s bright yellow and white awnings.

Hanging above their heads was the chic, black ‘Something About Her’ sign. The eatery is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10am to 4pm.

Speaking to Us Weekly, Madix and Maloney said they hope ‘everyone loves it’ and vowed to ‘continue to do the best that we can and grow and make it better and better as time goes on.’

Several staff members clad in black ‘Something About Her’ T-shirts happily waited on customers as they poured over the thoughtfully tailored menu with sandwiches named after actresses Reese Witherspoon, Drew Barrymore and even Maloney’s mother Teri.

The inside of the restaurant features white tables on hardwood floors with opulent chandeliers overhead and Parisian-style artwork set across from a wall of green-framed mirrors.

‘I don’t think we have to say anything. Everything’s going to speak for itself,’ Maloney said to Us Weekly of the hard work that went into bringing SAH’s interior to life.

In a recent video clip for Bravo, Maloney revealed that the the inside ‘was designed by Jon Hutman, who is Nancy Meyers’ production designer.

‘That was the whole inspiration of this sandwich shop in general. We wanted it to feel like main-character energy in a rom-com.’

Madix explained: ‘We also wanted it to feel like us. We wanted it to feel very California yet European,’ while Maloney added: ‘California country meets European café.’
