Rebel Wilson is so excited, she goes so deep!
Rebel Wilson recently recreated Britney Spears’ iconic 1999 music video for “(You Drive Me) Crazy,” wearing a version of the singer’s shiny emerald green top and black pants.
Wilson shared a photo from the concert on her Instagram over the weekend, writing, “My life is CRAZY right now 😜 ps 💜 friend Britney.”
The post came after she shared a behind-the-scenes look at her upcoming Netflix comedy Senior Year, and also revealed an image of Wilson in Spears’ waitress uniform.
“Can you tell I’m the biggest Britney fan! She wrote in her TikTok caption. “And so, in my new movie, Senior Year, my character LOVES her and we used her as inspiration for our cheerleading team.”
In another video, the Pitch Perfect actress provided even more glimpses of her various outfit changes on the recreated music video set.
“Why are you so hot, Rebel Wilson?” asked someone on set, to which Wilson jokingly replied, “Yeah. That’s why I get paid a lot of money.”
According to the synopsis on IMDb, Senior Year follows Wilson as “a 37-year-old woman wakes up from a 20-year coma and returns to the high school where she was a popular cheerleader.”
The film also stars Alicia Silverstone, Angourie Rice, Sam Richardson, Justin Hartley, Zoe Chao, Mary Holland and Chris Parnell.
