At the Met Gala 2024 in New York City on Monday, Kim Kardashian made waves with her small corset dress by Maison Margiela Artisanal by John Galliano.

It might seem strange that the rapper hasn’t attended a red carpet event since splitting from his ex-husband Kanye West, 46, even though he did so with his design muse, 29-year-old Bianca Censori.

However, since 2022, when Met Gala director Anna Wintour said she would never collaborate with Kanye again because to his anti-Semitic outbursts, he has not received an invitation.

Additionally, he was a regular Met Gal skipper prior to then; in fact, 2019 marked his final appearance.

Consequently, he and Bianca continued their Monday’s relocation out of their LA residence, spending it more than 2,000 miles abroad.

Even so, she brought a small piece of him to the Met Gala that year, fully hiding her entire body—including her face—in a black skin-tight suit by Ye’s frequent partner Balenciaga.

Kim’s first Met Gala appearance came in 2013 when she was heavily pregnant with first child North and invited only as Kanye’s plus one.

The couple attended again in 2014, just days before their luxurious Italian wedding, with Kim wearing a stunning midnight blue dress.

In 2015, Kim wore a stunning semi-sheer Roberto Cavalli white dress with a long and feathery white train, and Kanye wore an all-black suit.

Kim and Kanye’s penultimate Met Gala in 2016 saw them match in metallic silver, with Kanye wearing a particularly eye-catching bedazzled jacket.

In 2017, Kim went solo and in a very simple off-the-shoulder Vivienne Westwood white dress.

She stunned in a gold skin-tight Christian Dior dress adorned with crosses for her 2018 look.

Kim’s Monday Met Gala appearance comes after she was mercilessly booed by  the crowd as she took part in the Tom Brady roast on Sunday.

The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady, which was part of the Netflix Is a Joke Fest, was streamed live.

Netflix touted as the first-ever roast to be telecast live, unedited, and it was held at L.A.‘s Kia Forum in Inglewood.

While the Los Angeles native was not on the dais as a roaster, she was brought up for a special toast to the NFL quarterback legend, 46.

She walked up to the stage with a glass of champagne, when she was met with a chorus of boos from the crowd at the Forum.

The reality star and mogul seemed unbothered by the boos, as she was seen leaving the event in a stylish black leather gown.

The Los Angeles native was immediately jeered as she made her way onstage, pausing for a moment after thanking host Kevin Hart.

She told Kevin, 44: ‘I know a lot of people make fun of your height’, before appearing to do a double take at the outburst from her at the audience’s outburst.

Kim, who sported blonde locks as she held a Champagne glass at the event in Southern California, sought to get the show back on track, saying: ‘All right, all right, all right.’

Kevin himself appeared to jump in to do damage control as he said: ‘Whoa, whoa.’

In the rest of her set, Kim alluded to past rumors of a romance with Tom after they crossed paths last summer at a July 4 party in the Hamptons.

‘I’m really here tonight for Tom,’ said Kim, who past dated NFL players including Reggie Bush and Miles Austin. ‘I wasn’t going to come tonight, but since I’m not here as Tom’s date, there’s still a good chance I might.’

She joked in reference to her 2007 𝓈ℯ𝓍 tape with Ray-J, ‘I know there were some rumors that we were, and I’d never say if we did or not – I’d just release a tape.’
