Rebel Wilson introduces more sizes to her clothing line after backlash over lack of size inclusivity

Rebel Wilson is introducing new sizes to its clothing line after being criticized for a lack of uniformity.

The Pitch Perfect star faced criticism from fans after launching his own brand R&R Club, which is only available in XL sizes.

Taking to her Instagram story, the Sydney-born actress revealed that she is now launching more sizes and colors thanks to the success of her first collection.

Rebel Wilson will introduce new sizes in her clothing line after being slammed for a lack of inclusivity

‘For success, we are planning to launch more sizes and colors for R&R Club,’ she wrote while posing in celebration. She added that her next capsule will only have two pieces of limited size.

It comes after the actress was slammed on social media for not including plus sizes in the new loungewear clothing line she released with her partner Ramona Agruma.

One TikTok user posted a video saying she was confused that someone who had trouble buying plus-size clothing ‘could launch a brand that only goes up to XL’.

According to ABS data, the average dress size of an Australian woman is 14-16 while an XL is typically a size 12-14, reported news.com.au.

The TikTok user captioned her video: ‘Can we talk about the lack of size inclusivity in Rebel Wilson’s brand?’

In it she said: ‘I don’t understand how someone who was plus size for the majority of her career and majority of her life, as someone who knows how hard it is to be fat and to shop for clothing and actually find it in your size.’

‘I don’t understand how someone with that background, that knowledge, could release a brand that only goes up to an XL,’ she continued.

‘People’s biggest argument for this is always, “Oh, it’s so expensive to have so many size ranges,” but it’s Rebel Wilson. She’s got money.’

Viewers flocked to the comments in agreement and slammed the Pitch Perfect star for the lack of inclusivity.

The TikTok user captioned her video: ‘Can we talk about the lack of size inclusivity in Rebel Wilson’s brand?’

‘It’s so disappointing when you see something you love and are so excited and they do not offer in my size,’ one commented.

‘Whatttttt OMG that’s so surprising,’ another weighed in, while someone else said: ‘Wow. I’m disappointed in her. She knew how this felt.’

‘Out of all the people I thought she would have bigger sizes since she was bigger than an XL back in the day so disappointed in her,’ another raged.

However, this is not the first clothing line Rebel has released with the actress creating a plus size clothing line in 2017 called Rebel Wilson x Angels
