Madonna seems to have turned a blind eye to reports that 15-year-old Rocco Ritchie was spotted ‘drinking and smoking under a bridge’ during his time in London.
The 57-year-old took her son to the theatre in Soho on the same night that he was seen returning to her home when the pictures emerged in the newspapers.
After repairing their fractured relationship, Madonna was no doubt keen to avoid doing more damage and put on a united front with her eldest son.

United front: Madonna (left) and her son Rocco Ritchie (right) headed out to a theatre show in Soho, London on Saturday night, following pictures that had shown Rocco drinking and smoking under age
The pop singer was in high spirits as she arrived at the venue late at night, which was seemingly the same evening that Rocco had returned to his mother’s house in London.
Wearing a smile, it looked like the international pop star had not punished the teenager but instead chose to spend some quality time with him.
It was previously claimed that the singer was ‘fuming’ at her son for pictures that showed him swigging from a bottle by London’s South Bank, according to The Daily Star.
Madonna and Rocco went to see a production called You Me Bum Bum Train, which is billed as an interactive theatre performance, devised by Kate Bond and Morgan Lloyd in 2004.
The show is notoriously difficult to get tickets for, with some people waiting months to get hold of them, yet Madonna and Rocco strolled straight in.

For Guy Ritchie’s son Rocco, it was the same retro jacket and hippie-style trousers that he’d been seen wearing when he returned to his mother’s London home on Saturday night, following the image leak.
Pictures of Rocco, seen by MailOnline and originally published by The Sun, showed Rocco smoking a suspicious cigarette and drinking cider with friends.

Madonna is even said to have thrown a house party for her son after they put aside the dispute that saw him quit her Rebel Heart tour and move to the UK.
Rocco is thought to have chosen to live with his ‘less strict’ father and his new wife Jacqui, along with their three young children – Rocco’s step-siblings – after his mother took away his phone, an act which insiders said ‘pushed him over the edge’.

As soon as her global tour ended at the start of this month, Madonna returned to the UK herself in a bid to build bridges with her son.
Now, in an attempt to ‘loosen up,’ the singer allegedly let 15-year-old Rocoo invite all his friends round to her north London house on Thursday evening for the celebration, which lasted until 2am.
Speaking to The Mirror, a source said: ‘Madonna is overjoyed that Rocco has forgiven her. She has been strict in the past and is now making an effort to loosen up.’
