Kirk Cousins and George Kittle also participated in an ESPN interview during the tournament, where they professed their love for golf. Both NFL entities adore golf, which is evident as they both own their golf courses. During the interview, Kirk Cousins revealed the reason behind purchasing a 6400-yard golf course. A native of Michigan, Cousins hated driving for hours to play golf. Hence, he decided enough was enough and made the Clearbrook Golf Course his own. George Kittle, on the other hand, decided to turn his backyard into a 6-hole golf course.
Kirk Cousins, who recently penned a deal with the Atlanta Falcons, also issued a challenge to George Kittle and the 49ers.
Kirk Cousins plans to overcome his NFC rivals
Now that the ex-Minnesota Vikings quarterback has landed a four-year, $180 million deal with the Atlanta Falcons, it is time for him to take his new team to great heights. And to do that, Kirk Cousins knows exactly who he needs to conquer. The San Francisco 49ers managed to become the divisional champions and head to the Super Bowl this past season. While the Kansas City Chiefs defeated them, the 49ers proved they were not a fluke.
During the ESPN interview, Kirk Cousins depicted George Kittle’s team as the one to beat. Sitting beside George Kittle, Cousins said, “Everybody’s kind of looking up at the Niners right now in the NFC. If we’re gonna go anywhere we’ve got to go through this guy and his group.” It sounds like the Falcons, led by Kirk Cousins, are going to be gunning for the NFC title, and the 49ers are going to have to fight tooth and nail to ensure the victory is theirs.
