The professional boxer, 32, took to Twitter on Saturday to put rumours to rest – which were started by Amir in 2017 during his temporary split with the influencer.

A fan had asked him in a tweet: ‘AJ lad did you f**k Mrs. Khan back in the day?’ before he replied, ‘Honestly. I didn’t. With all the accusations around me name. I wish I did.’

Amir was previously forced to apologise to Anthony for accusing him of cheating with his wife after he was threatened with legal action.

The sportsman got his advisers involved after a series of sensational tweets in which the Bolton native shared supposed messages between Anthony and his wife online.

Back in 2017, Faryal broke her silence on the public spat to reveal the Snapchat messages were fake, adding that she had never met Anthony.

After several social media digs between the pair, however, Amir and Faryal finally apologised over their very public falling out.

According to The Sun, Anthony’s team became upset that Amir seemingly had his wife apologise for the ‘misunderstanding’.

In an tweet, Faryal wrote: ‘I’ve been quiet for some time… because I myself didn’t know what’s going on. Everything that’s going on is just not right and a complete misunderstanding.

‘The screenshots sent to Amir were “fake” and Amir thought Joshua and I were speaking… when we have never even met. Anger took the better of him and he tweeted away without thinking there was absolutely NO truth to it.

‘It’s all cleared up with both teams now and again, there was NOTHING like that going on. Apologies for all this nonsense. Let’s get on with life now…’

Amir then retweeted his wife’s note, then personally messaged Joshua, adding: ‘Glad all is cleared up and all lies. I got angry like any man would. No truth to it. Good to know. All the best.’

The British heavyweight champion later replied to Amir, writing: ‘Apology accepted.’

In another tweet, Amir added: ‘I partied in Dubai with friends to get my wife angry. Shouldn’t have. That’s not like me and I’ll prove that.’

The former I’m A Celebrity campmate then tweeted his intention to ‘leave Faryal’ as the relationship had ‘become unhealthy’, but he deleted the message shortly after.

Faryal added: ‘Sometimes you can live with someone for years… but you still really don’t know them.’

Following their marriage in 2013, the YouTuber gave birth to their daughter, Lamaisah, in 2014, moving from New York to Amir’s home town of Bolton.

They also share son Muhammed, two, and Alayna, three.

Last year, Faryal revealed she vowed to make her marriage work when she found out she was pregnant with their second child.

The couple’s relationship was plagued by cheating scandals in the past but the boxer has now insisted that he is a ‘changed man’.

Past allegations of Amir’s flings included claims that he cheated on his wife days after the arrival of their second child.

He was alleged to have bedded beautician Sophia Hammani, then 22, after she met him in a nightclub.

She believed Amir was divorced at the time of their one-night stand, and only saw that he was married when he shared a family photo to Instagram.

The sports star rejected the claims as ‘nonsense’ on Twitter at the time, saying she was simply a fan aggrieved when he wouldn’t pose for a photo.

Amir, who is worth £22.5 million, was also said to have been caught on celebrity dating app Raya not long after the cheating scandal.
