While Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds prefer to keep their personal lives private, the married couple of 11 years have shared glimpses of the homes they share together on Instagram over the years.

The A-list couple’s primary residence is a serene and cozy New York City apartment. In an Instagram post on Sunday, the Gossip Girl alum credited her secret interior design s𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁s for her and her husband’s stunning urban escape, which they share with their four children: daughters James, 9, Inez, 6, Betty, 3, and their fourth 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 born in early 2023.

The Entryway

In December 2023, Lively shared a photo of her posing in what appears to be the couple’s entryway. The actress’ bright pink outfit contrasts with the home’s rustic wooden floors and painted brick and wood-clad walls. A statement painting and gold push-button light switches add a unique custom touch to the space.

“Loud luxury,” the actress captioned the post.

The Hallway

Lively shared a sneak peek of a luxurious looking hallway in May 2023 before heading out to an event for Tiffany & Co. The blue-gray walls appear to be upholstered in a velvet fabric that also covers a door, creating a nearly hidden effect known as a blind door. A colorful woven rug and gold-framed paintings add a subtle touch of color to the space.

The Living Area

In the main living area, yellow-toned banquette seating peeks out from behind a sturdy exposed wood column in the center of the room. The same exposed brick wall seen in the entryway adds to the industrial loft vibe, while the statement chandelier gives the room a glamorous feel. Framed photographs surround the arched black frame windows.

The actress snapped this photo in May 2022 using the self timer on her phone after she forgot to take photos of her outfit before an event.

“Yes I took these on a self timer bc everyone was asleep when I got home at 9. Sorry outfit. You deserved better,” she wrote.

The Dining Table

While plugging her non-alcoholic sparkling mixers, Betty Buzz, in October 2021, Lively revealed a closer look at the colorful banquette seen in the last photo. In the Instagram post, she is seen sitting at the wood dining table it surrounds with two thumbs up.

The Kitchen

Lively snapped a photo in her kitchen before heading off to a Yankees game with Reynolds, revealing a glimpse of the dark wooden cabinetry and the pair’s coffee station setup, featuring a stylish espresso machine. In the caption, the actress revealed that she had officially been living in New York for 14 years when she posted the photo in April 2021.

The Artwork

For his wife’s birthday in August 2023, Reynolds shared a touching tribute to Lively on Instagram that included photos of the couple throughout their relationship. In one selfie of the pair, the actor’s followers got a close-up look at the same space from Lively’s Yankees snap, including an abstract artwork hanging in the kitchen, which appears to be made out of puzzle pieces.

“The only thing irrevocably mine in the world is the love and appreciation and awe I feel for this person,” he wrote in the caption. “Witnessing her life is something I couldn’t take for granted if I tried. And believe me, I try. Happy Birthday, @blakelively. You hung the damn moon.”

A Spare Room

In a video shared to Instagram in December 2022, Reynolds is seen sitting in what appears to be an office or guest room. The actor sits in front of a unique painting that looks similar to one in their entryway, and a bed or seating area can also be seen in the background.

The Primary Bedroom and Bathroom

Last but certainly not least, the primary bedroom ties the rustic and industrial vibes together with the gray-tone wooden floors and black-framed windows. Soft touches are added to the space through the upholstered bed, beige wall color and a gold sconce.

Lively revealed she designed the space herself in an Instagram post on Sunday, and she added that interior design is actually a hidden talent of hers.

After giving a shout-out to Michael Kors for her sparkling gold outfit, the actress wrote in the caption, “and yes I low key moonlight as an interior designer but please don’t tell bc I definitely don’t want the world to know that I have a hidden talent which I require external validation on.”

The photo also revealed a glimpse of the primary bathroom that is equipped with a marble free-standing bathtub.
