G-Dragon’s ‘Good Day’ project reveals ensemble song choice (feat. aespa, DAY6, BSS (SEVENTEEN), and more!)

G-Dragon has unveiled the song for his ‘Good Day’ project. After careful consideration, G-Dragon decided on the classic 80s song, “Telepathy” by Dosi Brothers.

G-Dragon cites several reasons for his choice, such as the moderate pitch range that is not restrictive, and how the song is like a canon, suitable for multiple people to take turns to sing. Defconn also notes that the track was released in 1988, which coincides with G-Dragon’s birth year, wittily teasing that G-Dragon “received telepathy” to choose this song.

As the Korean city pop song plays, the Good Day members cannot help moving their bodies to the funky beat. Hong Jin Kyung notes that the song is not just nostalgic, but also sounds very modern even to this day, despite being released nearly four decades ago. The song revolves around the theme of ‘love telepathy’, where lovers in love are excited by the slightest affection, able to read each other’s minds, and feel connected even without words and proximity.

Comprising the late Kim Chang Nam and Park Il Seo, the Dosi Brothers duo made their debut with “By the Moonlit Window” in 1986.

The song will be reinterpreted and rearranged by G-Dragon as the main producer, and it will be performed by an ensemble including various artists such as idols aespaDAY6, and BSS (SEVENTEEN), actors Kim Go Eun and Hwang Jung Min, and TV personalities Defconn and Chef Anh Sung Jae.
