Actor Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, has officially filed an additional legal complaint against Kim Se Ui, operator of the controversial YouTube channel Garo Sero Research Institute (Garo Sero), citing violations of the Stalking Punishment Act.

On April 2, law firm LKB & Partners, representing Kim Soo Hyun, announced that they have filed an additional criminal complaint on behalf of Kim Soo Hyun and Gold Medalist against Kim Se Ui for stalking and continued dissemination of false information.

According to the statement, GaSeYeon has been releasing daily broadcasts targeting Kim Soo Hyun since March 10, including highly damaging claims that the actor had a romantic relationship with the late actress Kim Sae Ron when she was underage. The videos, titled provocatively, have generated widespread controversy.

The agency stated, “GaSeYeon not only spread false claims but also published private photos, letters, and messages, including images of Kim Soo Hyun’s face and body, without consent. These actions amount to cyber harassment, and legal accountability through thorough investigation is the only path forward.”

Gold Medalist then reiterated that all of GaSeYeon’s allegations—including claims that Kim dated Kim Sae Ron while she was a minor—have been completely refuted with evidence.

The agency concluded its statement by affirming that it would continue to pursue legal action against Garo Sero for spreading falsehoods and engaging in criminal behavior.

As the legal representative of Gold Medalist and actor Kim Soo-hyun, we hereby deliver the following statement and explanatory materials on their behalf.

On April 1, 2025, Gold Medalist and actor Kim Soo-hyun filed an additional criminal complaint against Garo Sero Institute (hereinafter “Garo Sero”) operator Kim Se-eui for violating the Stalking Punishment Act.

Since March 10, 2025, when Garo Sero began broadcasting under the title “[Exclusive Shocking Report] Kim Soo-hyun Drove Kim Sae-ron to Death (Six-Year Relationship Starting at Age 15),” the channel has aired daily content about Kim Soo-hyun—excluding just one day—spreading false information about the actor. Furthermore, Garo Sero has indiscriminately disseminated photos and videos showing Kim Soo-hyun’s face and body, as well as private letters and messages, via its YouTube channel. In light of this, the only path to halting Garo Sero’s “cyber wrecking” activities lies in a thorough investigation and stern legal consequences.

Additionally, Gold Medalist has already refuted all of Garo Sero’s repeated claims regarding the alleged relationship between Kim Soo-hyun and the late actress Kim Sae-ron during their underage years. Despite this, Garo Sero continues to spread falsehoods based on manipulated evidence and images. Therefore, Gold Medalist has once again compiled and rebutted the so-called evidence presented by Garo Sero, and firmly states that the claim Kim Soo-hyun was in a relationship with the late Kim Sae-ron during her minor years is categorically false.
