Footage making the rounds on social media of Iggy Azalea recounting a “business meeting” with the artist formerly known as Kanye West, during which he’s alleged to have asked her about the size of her then-boyfriend’s penis, has received a response from Ye himself. In an update to X, Ye wrote, “This is true.”
As for what Iggy says in the clip, the excerpt in question begins with her recalling “so much pornography” being featured in a “slideshow, mood board thing” Ye played for her during the meeting. Several photos of Iggy are also said to have been included in the slideshow. Iggy juxtaposed the style of this meeting with other label-related encounters she’d had at this point in her career, which were “all professional” by comparison.
“This was just weird to me,” she said. “I really looked up to Kanye so it threw me off. I didn’t know what to say. So I was like, ‘Oh, that’s interesting to think that somebody that I really look up to looks at my pictures every morning for inspiration. That’s kind of cool.’ He was like, ‘Yeah, I jack off to them!’ Weird. Don’t know what to say.”
Iggy continued, “He was like, ‘But you’ve got a boyfriend, right?’ … I’m like, ‘Yes, I have a boyfriend.’ He’s like, ‘How big is his dick?’ Not kidding you. My face must have been like, ‘the fuck?’ He’s like, ‘You don’t gotta tell me, you don’t gotta tell me. I know it’s big.’”
Ye, as further claimed by Iggy (and seemingly confirmed by Ye himself), went on to tell her “You gotta let your boyfriend fuck as many different girls as he can because if you’ve got a big dick, then it’s his god-given right to fuck as many women as he can.’”

A longer version of the clip, which appears to have originated from Kick before circulating elsewhere Thursday night into Friday morning, sees Iggy saying that she was 20 years old at the time of this meeting. According to Iggy, this marked her first time ever meeting Ye, with the meeting taking place at the Staples Center after her management team received a call about Ye potentially being interested in signing her as an artist.
Judging by Iggy noting that Ye and Jay Z were filming a video at the arena, now known under a different name, this would place the meeting as having happened in late 2011, as the official video for their Watch the Throne track “N***as in Paris” featured footage from their co-headlining tour stop in Los Angeles. That same year, Iggy released her Ignorant Art mixtape featuring breakout hit “Pu$$y.”
Ye offering a “This is true” to Iggy’s story comes after she asked him to refrain from including her and Playboi Carti’s son in his feud with the MUSIC artist, which appeared to remain ongoing as of Friday morning.
