Kim Soo-hyun Scandal Fallout? ‘Good Day’ Announces SHOCKING and HEARTBREAKING News!!!

G-Dragon’s variety show ‘Good Day’ has officially announced a sudden cancellation of its upcoming episode amidst the fallout from Kim Soo-hyun’s scandal.

On March 20, the production team stated, “Episode 6, originally scheduled to air on the 23rd, will be postponed for program restructuring.” While they did not provide specific reasons, the announcement comes amid mounting controversy surrounding Kim Soo-hyun.

Previously, Kim Soo-hyun participated in Good Day as part of a segment centered around 1988-born celebrities, led by G-Dragon. The show featured Kim Soo-hyun, Jung Hae-in, Lee Soo-hyuk, Im Si-wan, and Kwanghee, documenting their journey of forming friendships. However, before the segment aired, Kim Soo-hyun’s controversy emerged, disrupting the pre-recorded content.

Editing Out Kim Soo-hyun—Now a Full Episode Canceled?

Kim Soo hyun was expected to skip the scheduled recording for ‘Good Day’ on March 13, yet he proceeded with the filming, sparking backlash from viewers. In response, the show’s production company, TEO, issued a statement on March 17, clarifying:

“The individual recording session involving Kim Soo-hyun on March 13 will not be aired. Additionally, we have decided to edit out as much of his footage as possible from episodes 6 and 7, which were already filmed.”

This last-minute editing process appears to have contributed to the decision to delay Episode 6.

Impact on the Show’s Production & Global Distribution

‘Good Day’ is a music project show led by G-Dragon, where he collaborates with various figures to create the song of the year. Kim Soo-hyun had already appeared in Episode 5, which was pre-recorded two weeks in advance for overseas broadcasts and subtitle processing. Once the controversy erupted, MBC and global OTT platforms rushed to edit out Kim Soo-hyun’s footage, leading to a final cut that was 10 minutes shorter than usual and lacking in detail.

With increasing public demand for his removal, the production team ultimately complied, signaling a significant shift in the show’s lineup. Despite the controversy, ‘Good Day’ remains a trending topic both domestically and internationally, attracting significant attention.

Kim Soo-hyun’s Controversy: The Allegations & Agency’s Response

Kim Soo-hyun has been embroiled in a scandal linked to the late actress Kim Sae-ron. On March 10, the YouTube channel Garosero Institute alleged that Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron had been in a romantic relationship since 2016, when she was only 15 years old. The claims suggest their relationship lasted six years.

Kim Soo-hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, responded on March 14, refuting the allegations: “They only dated from the summer of 2019 to the fall of 2020, after Kim Sae-ron became an adult.” However, public skepticism remains high, and the controversy continues to escalate.
