Ciara is open to expanding her family with husband Russell Wilson.

The “1, 2 Step” singer, 39, spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about motherhood at the 2024 Baby2Baby Gala presented by Paul Mitchell in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Saturday, Nov. 9, and how her four kids keep her very busy.

“Oh my gosh, it is turned up. I have a kid on every corner,” she jokes. “Oh my Lord, pray for me sometimes.”

The Grammy-winning singer then revealed that despite the current chaos, she is open to having a fifth 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 — just not right away. “Russ keeps walking around going like this, like, ‘Cinco.’ And I’m like, ‘High five, I love you too,’ ” Ciara says, adding, “I mean, listen, I think we’ll make it to five, but this mom needs a little time. Just a little bit.”

The “I Bet” singer and the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, 35, share daughter Sienna, 7, son Win, 4, and daughter Amora, 10 months. Ciara is also mom to 10-year-old son Future, whom she shares with rapper Future.

Wilson has previously voiced his desire to have a fifth child. In October, the NFL star left a comment on one of his wife’s Instagram posts, writing, “I’m ready when you are,” and adding, “We can call him Cinco.”

The couple — who married in 2016 — celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary in July. To mark the occasion, Wilson shared a video compilation of some of the pair’s most romantic moments in an Instagram post.

“Celebrating 8 years of God’s love & grace over us @Ciara! Since we met, you’ve been my strength in every trial. My joy in every moment. My peace in every prayer. God blessed me with the most incredible gift in you! I am so grateful for our journey together. Here’s to a lifetime more. I love you Mrs. Wilson to Heaven & back,” he wrote in the caption, concluding the message with a heart emoji.

Ciara shared her own Instagram tribute to her husband at the time, writing: “I love walking with you, talking with you, being in your arms, and doing everything with you! I’m the happiest girl because of how you love me!”

Ciara joined Ayesha Curry, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Julie Bowen, Katy Perry, Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton and Baby2Baby co-CEOs Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein as presenters for the evening.

The event celebrated 13 years of Baby2Baby’s work providing basic essentials to millions of children living in poverty across the U.S. and also honored actress and activist Charlize Theron.
